Unfair
My cat had expensive tooth surgery done and I did my research. Was told by Sarah prior to surgery "Yes would be covered" Waited 10 days for any answers and was told by Adrianna supervisor that she would reach out to Brianne adjuster to see if she would pay as goodwill? I was shocked as I had not been notified that they were not going to pay. Apparently Brianne spent five minutes making decision! Madison Serwold Senior Partner could not explain anything about coverage and kept trying to look up information. I asked her why she was not familiar with policies she set and she would not answer! Instead of informing me about denial of claim they informed my vet. Terrible way to do business and I find this too be a waste of money. No more insurance as this was my first try and the worst experience. Rather save money for this type of problem. And no they do not direct bill as my vet tried and was told no everything must be emailed??

Saved our bacon
Let me start by saying that I never believed in pet insurance. I thought it was one of those hokey, snake oil types of deals. In 2015, I lost two dogs and ended up spending close to $12,000 for their care that year alone. When I looked into Healthy Paws, and what my cost COULD have been, I honestly felt a little sick to my stomach. I researched all of the companies out there and found that Healthy Paws has the best coverage, best price, and easiest system to use. It was a complete no brainer. I have it for my two new rescues and have already reaped the benefits. My husband is currently out of work and our poor guy had to lose an eye to glaucoma. We NEVER would have been able to afford this had we not invested in Healthy Paws. It literally saved our financial bacon. I am a firm believer in the product. Do not hesitate to get Healthy Paws for your pets. Your financial freedom and your pets well being are not mutually exclusive anymore!

Thank goodness for coverage
Our dogs are covered by ASPCA insurance and that coverage has been a blessing. We have had some large bills due to injury and/or illness. Having coverage allows us to get the best care available for our furry family members. I am very pleased to receive the reimbursement.

Great, caring service!
My Lulu is a sensitive one. Her belly has always been sensitive and about a month ago she got really sick. I had to take her to the emergency vet in the middle of the night and it took nearly a month and 4 sizeable claims to get her back to her old self. ASPCA has not only paid out a significant amount, they have called to check on Lulu to make sure she was feeling better--and it never felt as though they were calling to ask if she was feeling better so they could stop paying out claims! It felt like they were genuinely interested in her wellbeing. I tell everyone I know with a pet about my ASPCA Heath Insurance and always recommend they at least look into it. You just never know and when you need it, it's a huge help and worth the quarterly investment!

Great Company
I filled out the claim form, took it to my vet with the attached payment statements, they faxed the required info to Embrace. Several weeks later I get a check for the amount over my deductible! Couldn't ask for any better service. I would definitely recommend them.

Fast claim refund
Hi Team Embrace!Star Lady's eye was irritated and nearly closed. The vet performed a stain and gluacona test. Turned out something must have gotten blown in her eye during these last few windy days. I'm so grateful that it was covered and a refund coming to me in about a week. Fantastic! Thanks again!

Extremely Long Reimbursement Times
Have had no problems, I've liked dealing with the company, they've covered all problems and been a stress reliever when it comes to getting good care for my pet. However I was just told to expect a 15-20 business day turnaround for a claim to be processed, which is ridiculous. Especially when other large competitors offer direct billing so you are never out of pocket. Would likely not insure another animal under this company for this reason.

Terrific Support
Our Bichon Frise-Poodle Mix dog, Max experienced a tear in his cruciator tendon and Miniscus as well as an out of joint knee cap during a hop up to our couch! We had him diagnosed with x-rays and referred for orthopedic surgery within about a week. ASPCA Pet Insurance handled the claim very rapidly and paid an excellent amount of reimbursement. They showed true concern for Max and for us. I can not thank them enough for their terrific support. After having this kind of coverage from pet insurance, I can not imagine having a pet without it!

Best insurance for emergencies.
I have 2 dogs, both strays. One was a stray from Panama (Chooki) which I brought over with me to Miami and the other we adopted from our local shelter (Louie). From day 1, Louie was sick with pneumonia, kennel cough, and high fever. The day after we picked him up from the shelter we were dropping him off at an overnight animal hospital to run tests and get an IV. We spent almost $2,000 that first night! And at the time, we had insurance with Pet Smart "Bansfield". They only covered preventative costs, such as shots, regular visits, and ear cleanings. Since my pets were really healthy, I didn't see the need to switch the insurance, until that night. While at the hospital, I picked up a brochure for Healthy Paws and the lady at the front desk told me she used that insurance for her 2 pets and it was really good. I switched and actually paid less than what I was paying with Banfield. I paid $25 for each pet a month and downloaded the app on my phone. The insurance had a $200 deductible and covered 80% of medical bills. What I liked about it was that it was completely opposite from Bansfield, in that it didn't cover preventative medical care, but everything else. Which was fine, cause most places have plans where you can pay a 1 time fee of $60 and it covers their shots for life. Plus I don't take them to the vet unless something is wrong, they get their ears cleaned at the groomers. I was worried that if Louie got sick again, we would be out of pocket another couple of thousand dollars. Both dogs are very healthy, but Louie is that kind of dog that is prone to swallowing anything and everything around the house! I once pulled an entire bandanna (from the groomers) out of his butt, he had swallowed it whole! So just 2 weeks ago, he decided to swallow a sock he found in the house somewhere. My husband and I didn't know what was wrong with him, but he was constantly throwing up, had no appetite, and a high fever for 2 days. We took him to the animal hospital, they did an xray, and sure enough found out that he had swallowed a sock and it was stuck in his intestines, not allowing anything to pass through and damaging his organs. They had to go into surgery to remove the sock immediately to avoid causing further damage to his intestines. We were nervous about the surgery and about how much this would cost us, since we had never had to use our insurance before. When the final bill came: diagnosis, surgery, anesthesia, medication, everything totaled to
