Healthy Paws is the company that you should use!

I've never had pet insurance before because with my two other dogs prior for 14 years never had a problem and when I was at the veterinarian’s office about two years ago with my 2 and 3 year old Aussie girls they mention insurance and gave me a pamphlet to look at and it was another insurance company. Not knowing very much to compare it with I signed up. When I got off the phone I Goggled pet insurance and found Healthy Paws and their plan was so much better than the one I just signed up with that I called immediately back and cancelled with the other company. I just had to use it because of something that my dog ate and got lodged in her intestines and she had to have surgery. Healthy Paws processed and paid the claim in a very reasonable timeframe. I have told anybody I know with a dog which is a lot of people that this company is the one they should be using. I own a company that also provides a service and I know good service when I see it. Thank you

Best Pet Insurance Company

We have two policies for our Papillions. Over the past 7 years we have submitted numerous claims and relied on our policies to reimburse us for covered illnesses and injuries. We selected the $250 deductible w/90% coverage. Pets Best has always reimbursed us within 7 days. Last week we were reimbursed $4400 for a claim related to our dog's back surgery. There were no questions asked, no complicated forms to fill out; we simply submitted a claim, uploaded the bills, and awaited reimbursement. Six days later, we were compensated. If you are considering pet insurance, I assure you that you will find peace of mind with Pets Best.

Excellence Pet Insurance

I'm very satisfied with Embrace. There customer service reps are very helpful and their turnaround time on claims is outstanding. The wellness program is great because I use supplements vs prescription medications from the vets and this is also covered. I would recommend the any day.

Reg. Vet Tech here.. Shame on you Trupanion!

One of Trupanion's number one marketing claims is that you only pay a deductible ONCE PER CONDITION. Well today I found out that that is not actually the case. My cat had a dental with extractions in 2014 and the CONDITION that he has that causes his teeth to need to be extracted is Feline Odontoclastic Resorptive Lesions. This is a genetic, immune mediated condition that cats get and have their whole lives. Yesterday, I sent in a claim for another a dental with extractions, the reason he needed extractions this time? You guessed it! Feline Odontoclastic Resorptive Lesions.. so I was absolutely shocked when it came back as being applied to my deducible. Applied to my deductible?!? I already paid that back in 2014. When I called their customer support number, the girl on the phone told me that it "was like having an ear infection 3 years apart from each other, they aren't actually the same condition". Well as Registered Veterinary Technician I say that is 100% BS! Anyways, I am waiting for someone to call me back but I suspect I won't get anywhere with it. I though Trupanion was different but apparently they are just like all the other insurance companies out there. Do yourself a favour and do what I should have done.. work out what your monthly premium would be and put it into a high interest savings account.
