Must Have & 100% Happy with It

I have my 2 chihuahuas covered with $0 deductible. Had to use Trupanion twice & both times got everything covered & on top of that so far every time I called everyone was so friendly, helpful and caring. They even called me to find out how my furbabies were doing after I had to file a claim. If you want pet insurance Trupanion is the best in my opinion. And to everyone who works for Trupanion A BIG THANK YOU FOR ALL OF YOU ♡♡♡♡

Excellent policy, excellent staff

I have had ASPCA Pet Insurance for my cats for years. All my claims were responded to promptly. The staff is always kind and helpful with questions. I love their follow up calls. I have recommended this insurance to everybody I know who has a pet.

Wonderful company to deal with.

Very easy claim process, uploaded bills with brief explanation of issues and claim was processed within a week. We received a phone call asking how Zara was feeling and how her older brother Frankie was doing. Excellent customer service and a very caring staff.

So Simple

First time purchasing pet insurance.- huge thanks to our vet for recommending Embrace!! After 2 months of having our golden doodle puppy (squee!!) she contracted giardia - uggg!! Not only was it simple to submit the claims online, we could track everything, too! That even included how we wanted to receive our reimbursements - wow! Today I received an email asking if we had received one of our checkered and if not, would I like them to resend it. Yes! An insurance company asking if I'd received my money! So simple and so relieved we made the right decision to choose Embrace!🐶❤️

Every pet owner should have insurance!!

With all of the dogs (18) that I have had over the years I have never purchased insurance. In June 2016 we purchased our first Bernese Mt. Dog puppy who was 9 weeks old at the time. During our first vet visit, our Doctor recommended that we try Trupanion for their 30-day trial period because with puppies...you never know what can go wrong! Well, we enrolled right after the trial period was over. We opted for the full coverage plus we added extras like hydrotherapy treatments etc., with the anticipation that our Bernese may get arthritis when he is older. We pay a $0 deductible and almost $180 per month. From what I understand, prices not only vary with breeds and age but also vary throughout the country as far as what vets charge etc., We live in NJ so everything seems to be more expensive :( That being said, this past week, our 11 month puppy decided to gulp down one of our baby's bib...one big gulp and I couldn't stick my hand down his throat fast enough to reach it. I tried to induce vomiting but without any luck. I called my vet and Trupanion right away. I told Trupanion my situation and they pre-approved a ballpark amount for the possibility of surgery/vet stay etc., The following day we went to the vet for scans of his stomach etc., There were definitely compacted materials in his stomach so the vet and I discussed options for surgeries. Being the least invasive, I opted to try Endoscopic so that my poor puppy didn't have to be cut open. I had to go to a another vet besides my usual one. This was a special 24hr. vet with specialist so I made the call to Trupanion to tell them that I had to travel to another vet for the surgery etc., and they were updated on all of the info. and I wanted to make sure that everything would still be covered. I should also mention that all of this is going on in the evening and I wound up being at the vet from 5pm to almost 1am and every time I was able to speak with a representative and they were able to get after-hours approval for additional tests etc., The vet ended up pulling out the whole bib plus a couple of my husbands black sport socks (what???) and our puppy is recovering beautifully. I cannot be more thankful for having pet insurance like Trupanion. $180 a month is no small amount of change...and yes, there are definitely some months were I thought "why are we paying for this, we could use that money for something else!". Honestly, this surgery with the scans, anesthesia, actual surgery and recovery c

Better than our health insurance

Great insurance policy. Very responsive, they always call you our email you to ask you if your pets are ok. The only downside is that they do not provide health insurance for us!
