Super friendly, slow to underwrite
My dog tore her ACL and had to have surgery. PetsplusUs didn't finish underwriting the claim until 8 weeks after the surgery date due to a lack of medical history (which I had to get for them). However, they did cover their portion and were very helpful and friendly when I did have any questions.

Impossible to cancel in the their dashboard
It'd be sure nice if it was possible to cancel the insurance when I login to my account dashboard. An easy opt-out is industry best practice and don't appreciate jumping through hoops. Also, there's no notes about exactly how to cancel on the help pages in their site.

I Think More Should Be Covered…
I think more should be covered with the wellness plan. Also dogs getting titles such as canine good citizen and companion dog should be rewarded like a safe driver would get.

I submitted a claim for my dog who received his shots and blood taken. All I had to do was take a picture of the receipt and hit submit and was notified the results. I received the check in the mail right after.

Took My Dog To The Vet Because…
Took my dog to the vet because she was limping and having trouble holding her urine. She had the beginnings of a UTI and was given antibiotics and also medicine for her limp. Filing the claim was so easy and Pets Best was very prompt in reimbursing the money according to the plan that I have.
