My Dog Buddy Required Immediat…
My dog Buddy required immediate care a few weekends ago. The hospital that we brought him to performed various tests and medication for pain which brought the total bill to more than $300.00. Other than the deductible, Pets Best covered everything. Great insurance to have. Thank you!!

I Had Contact With Two Repres…
I had contact with two representative. Once prior to my dog passing away to determine which procedures would be covered by my insurance coverage. And the second was the invoices that I needed to turn in for a claim as a result of his passing. Turning in invoices was exceptionally easy. All of your customer service representatives were very friendly and knowledgeable. I still have an insurance policy for my other dog and will totally recommend Pets Best to anyone that asks me about pet insurance. Thank you "

Phone wait time unacceptable
I submitted a claim to include an accidental ingestion ( halloween candy ) and an ear infection. Trying to call Embrace resulted in 10-15 minute hold waiting for a representative to come on the line. ( they are clearly understaffed and the associate I spoke with indicated they are trying to hire people) My claim experience still has me looking for answers as to how this policy works. I am trying to find time in my busy day to call them and ask additional questions. They may be an ok company to do business with but if you cannot reach them on the phone what good are they ?

ASPCA Insurance
I have been a ASPCA insurance buyer for several years. Their insurance has consistently been a high performer. Making claims online is a quick and easy process. ASPCA does all the work contacting the VET and the claim is processed in about 10 days. ASPCA does direct deposits, after being notified of the claim approval, the payment usually appears in about 24 hrs. They always call during and afterwards to inquire on my little big guys, Eliot's progress. I get great comfort in the knowledge that Eliot will have financial support in his time of need.

Rip off
I got this insurance when I first got my puppy 11 years ago. It was my understanding that they would pay 90% of any health bills that came in. I didn't need the insurance until he got diabetes two months ago, then pancreatitis. Here's the deal, there is a "set limit" on what they will pay for a certain illness every year and then THAT'S IT, your on your own til next year. So for the diabetes, they paid $400 after deducting $50 as a deductible, then 90% of the rest. He went into the hospital as an emergency case. The bills totaled over $7,000 when adding everything he had wrong with him the past two months, and I only got $1,300 for everything. Before this, I rarely took my dog in for any illnesses. Now that he is older, he needs the insurance. I pay close to $70 per month in premiums and is only going higher as he gets older. I figured I paid over $6,000 in premiums over the years. The only thing that is worth a darn is the cancer rider I purchased with both my dogs. When one dog got cancer, VPI paid out about $6,500 leaving me with a bill of $11,000 when she died.

Fantastic Pet Health Insurance
I am very pleased with this insurance plan. The staff has been wonderful to me in every way. My puppy had several issues and the response to my claim forms has been fantastic. Payments are promptly sent and everyone I have spoken to has treated me with so much kindness and respect. I am so glad that I have this insurance company for my dog Chloe because it is a blessing to know that they are there for me in Chloe's time of need. This is a great company!

Simply the Best
Our 1 year old mix breed rescue began to develop a small lump on the right side of her neck. We were so thankful that we had her insured with Healthy Paws since we adopted her at 4 months old. Her medical bills in total were $1,500 and we were able to recoup 90%! The turnaround time for submitting the claim and receiving the check is often about a week and the process could not be easier. Simply snap a photo of the bill, upload it through the app and hit submit. The plan is very affordable and extremely clear about what is covered and what isn't. They even sent a follow email to see how Penny was recovering :) This company truly understands the relationship between people and their pets. I would highly recommend Healthy Paws to any pet parent - they are the best!
