Could not be more thankful...
I rave about Healthy Paws to my friends. I have two pets insured with them, and have had some pretty hefty bills for one of them. I will never regret insuring the other - even if I don't have to access it. I am so grateful for the true coverage, customer service, and prompt reimbursements. I had a large bill on Monday, the vet submitted the claim, and by Thursday, a reimbursement check was on its way. At a time when our leaders are putting the health insurance of millions of Americans on the line, I'm not sure they are making America great, but in regard to ensuring that our furry loved ones are cared for, Healthy Paws is!!

I am truly impressed! I was skeptical about getting pet insurance and worried about claims getting denied, slow payments, etc. Well Figo has has put all my fears to rest! After going into debt when my labradoodle puppy ate a sock last summer, I decided I needed to get pet insurance for him and my older labradoodle. I shopped around and the cost vs. coverage seemed the best with Figo. It's very cheap for my puppy, but much higher for my older dog because he was almost 12 when I got it for him. Well the decision paid off! This spring my older dog got some senior issues that has required multiple visits to specialists and an overnight stay in the Emergency Vet and Figo has been a lifesaver! Filing claims is incredibly easy on my smartphone -- I can do it before I leave the vet's office. Most claims are processed within a week. Three claims I submitted on Tuesday were processed today, Thursday! And every claim has been paid 100% no questions asked. My dog still needs surgery, but my family can afford it thanks to Figo, and I'm not worried about battling over payment or waiting months for my reimbursement. That is a huge relief!

Excellent and Efficient!
Shasta, our sweet rescued Alaskan Husky, has gone through a lot of health-related problems in the past year that she has been with us: Heart worm, Ehrlichia, a fatty tumor, and a very weak stomach at the beginning. Given the frequency of her first trips to the vet, we knew we need some help in taking care of the bills in the future, did our research on pet insurance, and found the best: Healthy Paws! We could not have made a better choice. Healthy Paws covers a broad set of pet health expenses and has been supporting us throughout all Shasta's treatments. We just upload photos of the receipts in the Healthy Paws app, and they start processing in a couple of days. So, now we can focus all of our attention on Shasta's health knowing that we are not financially alone. Recently, she needed to go under an unexpected abdominal surgery. She got the best medical care she could, and we received a check for about $3k covering %90 of the expenses in a couple of days. I don't think there is anything more a pet parent could ask for. We have been extremely satisfied with their support and strongly recommend them to all pet owners!

So Necessary
I had an 8 year old cat with reoccurring but undiagnosed problems. I spent several thousand of dollars over approximately two-three years on every possible test/remedy you could think of. XRays, Ultrasounds, Bloodwork, Science Diet Food, Allergy testing, etc. Fortunately for me, I had VPI pet insurance and I was fairly promptly reimbursed for the appropriate percentage of my vet bill (based on my selected plan & options). I have had 99 problems, but VPI was not one. *The above experience was circa 2011-2014. I have a new cat now (age 5), and i still have VPI insurance, but fortunately I have not had to use it at all in the last 3+ years.

Claims are now received and processed quickly money is auto deposit. So claims are now very efficient which makes life with a diabetic cat easier.
