Five stars! Claims paid without a hassle
Pets Best has been an absolute lifesaver. Our puppy has had accident and illness coverage with Pets Best since 9 weeks old. We did all the required preventatives out of pocket but unfortunately at 6 months she contracted Coccidia parasite and had complications resulting in an emergency overnight stay and another 2 follow ups at our veterinary. Filing a claim is incredibly easy, and they have promptly reimbursed me for my vet visits and emergency care and medications. No games, no hidden loopholes—they just pay the claims as promised. If you want peace of mind for your dog or cat, this is the company to go with and if getting a puppy highly recommend getting coverage asap! Thank you, Pets Best!! We appreciate you.

Horrible
Provided all medical records for dog from 1st vet visit up to the day of claim. Then they asked for prior 12 mos of records. I gave them all to PetsBest, they just need to look! They then denied the claim because " info wasn't received by customer" Do better!

It is truly a lifesaver
The agents I’ve spoken with over the phone have always been very helpful and understanding with any questions I’ve had. The well wishes and compassion I’ve received when going through such a tough situation as an unknown sudden illness with my dog has made me feel a little better while going through the healing process with her. The claim process from start to finish and reimbursement/payments so far have been easier and exceeded my expectations. Even the process of needing part of a claim resubmitted and corrected was quick and easy. I was happy to be able to put my full focus on my baby’s healing without worrying so much about the costs.

Okay so I have had this pet insurance…
Okay so I have had this pet insurance for awhile the reimbursement is like 80 percent but when I do the math of my vet bill and the reimbursement it don't add up another problem I have is when I file a claim some of my reimbursements go towards my deductible witch I feel like all the money that I pay mouthy should go towards my deductible all the mouths that they charge me and I dont file a claim should go towards my deductible because it's like I don't use the insurance until I need it but im still being charged for it so all the money im am being charged when I dont use it should go towards my deductible ps I have had this insurance before 2025 but it will not let me pick a date before that

Loyal customer - smooth claims process
My 3 year old dog just had an expensive and complex orthopedic surgery. She had specialist visits prior to that. All claims were handled within 1-2 days of filing them and required no follow up. Same smooth claims experience for my 13 year old dog with lots of cardiology and specialist visits. I’ve had 7 animals covered by Healthy Paws (5 currently, 2 passed away) and I stay with them specifically because they handle emergencies and surgeries so well. And the ease of claims process.
