Peace of mind & Easy process
I adopted Maggie,Chihuahua-Terrier mix, from a shelter when she was 8 months old. She has been a family member for over 10 years. I took Maggie to see the veterinarian due to allergies in July 2016. The vet found a small mass located on her chest. I had the mass cells analyzed and it was determined to be not to be cancer. The vet instructed me to watch for growth or a sign of pain. I noticed the mass had grown February 2017 and contacted our vet. She measured the mass and due to its rapid growth and location recommend it removed. I submitted a pre authorization form to Embrace. I was given the coverage, my deductible and co pay. I requested vacation time and scheduled the surgery in May 2017. I was laid off from work two days before the surgery. Having the pre authorization made my decision to continue with the surgery easy. Once the surgery was complete I uploaded the claim form, invoice and paid receipt on the Embrace website. The Embrace team kept in constant communication with me via the Embrace website and email. Maggie is doing great and I can concentrate on finding a job! I'm extremely disappointed with this insurance.
I'm extremely disappointed with this insurance. I heard immediately about the denial of my claims. However, when I appealed the claims with two doctors' notes, it's taking forever to hear anything back. The case is moving at glacial speed. In the mean time, my kitty is in need of treatment and I can't take him to the hospital because I fear the insurance will not reimburse me for anything related to his condition.this is extreme cruel and inhuman.

Every step of the way
This is our 1st pet with ASPCA insurance and he was recently injured. The process was easy and the reps stayed in contact with us every step of the way to make sure our pet was doing well. He had to have stitches and he managed to pull them out before he healed and had to be restitched. The process was just as easy and they answered all of my questions and were very helpful. I would get this for any pet I ever have.
