Forever in Your Debt, Thank You Trupanion
The week my father passed away, my little Chloë was being sick to her tummy every now and then. As this was not usual for her, I took her to the vet where they performed a comprehensive blood test. The results showed several liver enzyme levels were through the roof. An ultrasound was ordered and surgery was suggested to take a look at the liver and obtain samples of the liver and small intestine. Over a year later, and little Chloë is still being treated for her liver problems, a mild case of inflammatory bowel disease and although several enzyme levels have decreased to high normals, several levels are still higher. We visit an internal medicine vet every 4-8 weeks for regular blood tests and a physical exam. She's had several ultrasounds, is on 5 medications (all prescription medications), takes 7 pills a day, and is on 2 supplements. She will require several more procedures in the near future and is on a long medical journey. You would never guess that little Chloë was sick because of the treatment she is receiving. She just turned 10 years old in April, is active, runs up & down the stairs for her ball and orders her little brother around! Thanks to Trupanion, I can get my precious little baby the medical attention she requires without having to go into severe debt, or even worse, having to make an unthinkable decision because of the high cost of vet bills.

Tinkerbell, our Golden, was ensured with Trupanion when she was 3 months old. When she was 6 months old, she contracted Valley Fever, which will be a lifelong condition. When she was 2, she developed pneumonia (a side effect of VF) and had a recurrence at 3. Now she has been diagnosed with chronic bronchitis, again a lifelong condition. Trupanion has been a godsend. Our medical bills have been in the multiple thousands of dollars, and Trupanion has been there at every step. I recommend Trupanion to everyone who has a dog or cat

My Kerry Blue Terrier has a protein …
My Kerry Blue Terrier has a protein deficiency, her body doesn't absorb the necessary amount of protein , she had to have an upper endoscopy, and is on chemo drugs, special low fat food, steroids, etc. Without Trupanion, I never would have been able to afford the care she needs without getting a loan, as her care and maintenance is very expensive. Trupanion is prompt to reimburse claims and very cooperative. Their customer service is top notch. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM WITHOUT RESERVATION.
