Reimburse
I have had this insurance for at least 12 years and have several dogs on it. Previously things were wonderful. I received my reimbursement in a timely manner. I got the most expensive policy and until lately I praised Healthy Paws to everyone. I have been very happy until lately. I have submitted two claims and I will be submitting another one very soon. One was submitted in January and the other one in March. I have not received a reimbursement check on either one. I have called and of course it’s somebody different in a different place. For my January submission I was told it was approved but never got where ever the checks are printed. It was spooked to be corrected and here I am almost 4 months later still waiting. I had submitted another one in March but was told they didn’t have record of that. What is going on there.? My premiums are very expensive. I would appreciate a response to this since I can’t talk to anyone that can help. Because of this I have given a very low rating.

To Whom It May Concern, I brought home a sweet Havanese puppy named Peanut from a local breeder who had been breeding for over 30 years. We instantly fell in love with him. Although, I was initially unsure about getting pet insurance, I ultimately decided to move forward with Healthy Paws Pet Insurance and I’m so glad I did! A year later, Peanut began having seizures and was diagnosed with epilepsy. I reached out to the breeder, who assured me that in all her years of breeding, she had never encountered a dog with this condition, Peanut was her first. As time went on, Peanut was also diagnosed with liver disease, then heart disease, and most recently, bowel disease. I honestly don’t know what I would have done without Healthy Paws Pet Insurance. To date, Peanut's has had over 220 claims. Without insurance, I can’t imagine how I would have managed the financial burden. Not only does Healthy Paws consistently and efficiently cover claims, but they also take the time to check in on Peanut. They treat him like family, and that level of care means the world to me. I wholeheartedly recommend Healthy Paws to anyone with a pet. Their support has allowed me to focus on loving and caring for Peanut, rather than worrying about overwhelming vet bills. Wonderful claims process
The claims process is so easy and takes the worry about how to pay for your pet’s emergency care away, when all you should be worrying about is getting your pet better! I wish human claims paid out that fast!

Trupanion surgery
I have had my dog insured with true opinion since he was just under a year old I have not had to really use the insurance until this year when a liver mass was found. He needed a CT scan and surgery, which was going to cost around $11,000. The specialty hospital works directly with Trupanion so I did not have to wait to be paid out. and they covered 90% of the surgery.. so it paid for itself in one procedure.
