disappointed by loopholes
After a year my dog had an accident and we went to the ER. This is the first time I learned that I have a 10% copay on all claims and also that no exams are covered. Both in the intro video and online materials these 2 points were not made clear. In addition, before I signed up, I talked to a representative and asked about hidden costs. I knew that there would be no coverage for wellness exams or vaccines. I am fine with that. I was not told about either of these 2 loopholes before I purchased the insurance. When I called, the representative was very nice but told me that it was all in my contract. The one that is 20 pages long and unreadable by anyone other than a lawyer. Forgive my cynicism. This feels a little underhanded. It should be laid out up front and easily accessible to any consumer trying to do due diligence. I had to pay out hundreds more than I expected for this visit. Disappointed.

Elvis Pawsly super pup assurance
Actually. 2 years ago I had a German Shepherd, and I found that the most recent version of the insurance is absolutely phenomenal... The reimbursement process was always easy then and still remains although I find that there's a lot more flexibility and choices.. Totally worth it. It pays for itself.

Easy submit process and quick payment
Was very easy to submit claims and I received confirmation and insurance payment back on my cat very quickly. I only wish I had a better plan for my cat or there was a way to adjust plans going forward (even if it didn’t kick in until the next year).

I would have given 5 stars but I cancelled my policy because the premium increases by at least 50% each year and after canceling, I was still charged. They acknowledged the error but it will take up to 10 business days to get my money back after they took the money without cause or permission.

You are AMAZING Trupanion!
If it wasn’t for Trupanion, I don’t know whether our pet would still be around. Our male Aussie rescue has had so many health issues and Trupanion has been there to reimburse immediately and whenever we’ve needed to get a hold of somebody to help us, it has been such a pleasant experience. Pets Best has always been honest
Pets Best has always been upfront, honest, and reliable, with no games or leaving me feel like I’ve been cheated. I used to use a spreadsheet to figure out to the penny how much I was owed, and they never disappointed me. Now I just submit and move on, knowing they’ll pay what’s owed. The payments for claims have also gotten much faster, which is a relief.

Great Company
I have had no issues with Pets Best Insurance. They handle claims quickly and if they are in need of additional information, they request it in a timely manner. Their claim submission is easy as are their EOB's to read. I can recommend them without reservation.
