I have been a customer of healthy paws…
I have been a customer of Healthy Paws Pet Indurance for over ten years, never filed a single claim until June of 2025, then filed two more small claims in Oct 25, before policy more than doubled to $163/ mo. Since these claims were filed, I have uploaded Doctors notes from all visits, my pet's most recent history, and several other details from historical vet visits, However, my claims have all been denied, ignored or just not even looked at, in fact, i've had zero response from healthy paws, i've spent 4 hours on phone calls with over five representatives they could have cared less. I doubt there service reps are even located on this Continent, likely not. So why would they care??? This company is a SCAM and they're set up to take your money and never pay these claims. PLEASE DON'T EVER USE HEALTHY PAWS PET INSURANCE, TELL YOUR FRIENDS AND ANYONE YOU KNOW - YOUR HARD. EARNED MONEY IS TOO VALUABLE TO GIVE TO THIS ABSOLUTE SCAM OF A COMPANY ANYTHING EVEN YOUR TIME.

Normally i rate you a 5 but lately on claims you are reviewing them and saying that meds for an injury are actually allergy medications and they are never used for allergies. When I contact you it takes days before you respond and in email you still maintain the anti-inflammatory meds are for allergies and you deny it as a pre-existing condition but then approved it on the claim after denying it repeatedly.

Hamlet
Unfortunately, with Hamlet, our worst nightmare came true. He was having trouble walking and we weren't able to intervene any other way except for surgery. He had neck surgery and unfortunately experienced a lot of complications afterwards and eventually had to be put to sleep three weeks after his surgery. It was the hardest three weeks of our life as he remained at an emergency vet facility the entire time, unable to breathe well. He was on a ventilator, off of ventilator and back on. It was a very sad time for our entire family but Pets Best came through for us when it mattered. The last thing we wanted to do was to have to put our dog to sleep because of financial reasons. While it can be tough to come up with the money upfront to pay for Veterinary Care we knew in the back of our minds Petsbest would eventually come through. I have to admit we were a little worried and we didn't want Pets Best to feel like we were taking advantage of a situation, but we just couldn't bear to say goodbye as there was hope of recovery. We do want to thank Pets Best from the bottom of our hearts for everything.

The online instructions in submitting a first time claim was easy to follow and explicit on what documentation was needed to upload with the claim. I appreciated the quick response in acknowledging my claim as received, acceptance of the claim and a timeliness for claim processing.

Not happy
I sent the bills in that listed what was wrong with her. They kept asking for the Vet to forward her medical records .When they did they went by her check up report was her shots not her report that I sent about what she was been treated for, which was an ear infection. That she still has some bacteria that I am still treating her for. So if I paying for Ins. And not getting refunding then I don’t need to pay for her. I will be cancelling my policy.
