I spoke with an insurance lady on the phone. She was very eager to get my business. And was very energetic and excited and gave me a lot of information. I signed up. Then I tried to set up my account and I was having a hard time, I called her and asked her to call me back and I never heard back from her. I found that disappointing.

"I decided to get insurance for my senior dog Milo after finding out my other senior dog had cancer. He is now my last of the 3 dogs we had, and has been generally healthy most of his life since we rescued him. The claims I've submitted and were paid involved his preventatives and annual wellness visit at the vet. The Pets Best app was user friendly, so submitting claims were extremely easy. I received updates about my claim via email so I never had to wonder what came of it. This gave me an idea of how fast and dependable Pets Best was at insuring I was getting my money's worth, considering this is my first time getting pet health insurance!"

Wouldn't have a pet without insuring it with Embrace
I have had wonderful experiences with them and have had them for over 10 years. I have never had an issue with any claims and submitting a claim is super easy. I have it set up so the refund goes directly into my checking and is there within days of submitting my claim. I tell everyone about Embrace. We were out to dinner with friends and I told the waitress who just got a new puppy to get Embrace. There will always be emergencies with pets. It's wonderful knowing Embrace has our backs.

Once again, Trupanion dismisses legitimate claims without even looking at them
Once again, Trupanion has rejected a legitimate claim within minutes of me submitting it. They never just pay a legitimate claim. They make you jump through hoops. They wear you down with denials. It feels like they want you to just give up. I submitted my claim with an itemized invoice provided by my vet, along with complete chart notes. Within minutes I received a denial stating that I needed to submit a claim form with an itemized invoice. They clearly did not even look at my submission. I called the supervisor that reached out to me last time I left an unfavorable (truthful) review, and left a message. It has been 4 days now since I left a message (6 days since the denial), and no one has gotten back to me. The last time they denied a claim and I left a review, the same supervisor did end up getting me the money I was owed, but it takes an act of Congress to get claims paid. I am a cancer patient, recently had a heart attack, and it is not only unprofessional to treat people the way Trupanion does, it is morally reprehensible. People have better things to do than to pay years of premiums, and then have to chase down the insurance company to get them to pay legitimate claims.
