Easy Process During a Difficult Time
Unfortunately my amazing Greyhound passed away just short of his sixth birthday. He was hospitalized for three days and the amazing team at the animal hospital did all they could to save him. I had insurance on Sully for just this type of situation. Without insurance, I would have had to make a difficult decision about continuing care due to the cost. I was concerned that due to the large claim, the insurance process would be drawn out and complicated. I was wrong. I uploaded all of Sully's medical records and billing information into the Pets Best online platform. All the claims were paid without any further questions. It was great to not have to go through a long, difficult claims process during a very difficult time. Thank you so much!
Coverage seems good-BUT ——
Coverage seems good. However, I had to fill in the form at least three times and at the end said something went wrong and would have to try back later. I am not pleased that two months, actually more than two months payment will be taken and the next month must be paid in addition to the two months. This is not like renting a house, it is an insurance policy for an animal.

Have been waiting two months for my first claim. Sent all documents requested and still waiting. I did have a good experience with customer service. Hopefully she will follow up like she said she would. I pay a lot of money for insuring my pets. Things should be handled in a timely manner.

Claims are getting placed on hold…
Claims are getting placed on hold because the adjuster claims there is no invoice. I submitted 2 invoices with all of the info on them for meds. This is frustrating you have individuals who cannot or do not want to do their job! Thank you, Betsy PS...This has happened several times to my claims!

I love Spot pet insurance. You hope you never need to use it but if you do, like I have a few times for my fur baby, submitting a claim is super simple, review is fast and payment takes only a few days. I am so relieved to know that the medical choices I make for my pup can be first and foremost about what she needs, not how much it will cost. Thank you for taking that fee out of the equation.

We are grateful for this insurance plan…
We are grateful for this insurance plan for all of our animals. The processing time is often completed within the 10 day window, but many times it does take a week or two longer. I would like to submit feedback in regards to filling out the claim forms. It would be much easier to fill out the forms online, rather than printing a form, filling it out by hand, then scanning the form to submit. Also, if the Veterinary information box could have a slide down option to choose a vet, rather than filling that information in every time. The space provided in the printable forms is very small.
