Good all around
Very easy to submit claims. They tell you up front what won't be covered; they pay immediately and without quibbling for things that are not excluded. The cost went up after a year, but not much, and I'd had a number of claims in my pup's first year.

Don't buy Pet insurance, it's a scam!!
I have been paying for Healthy Paws pet insurance for 10 years for 2 dogs. Now that my dogs are older they raised my premium almost to $7000.00 for the year. The reason that Healthy Paws gave me was that my dogs are older now. Isn't that why you start paying pet insurance when your dogs are younger so that when they need it when they get older it is available to you at a reasonable price? It is a scam! You are better off putting money away in an account for your pets and do not pay for pet insurance.

There are better companies out there
I got the wellness plan for the dental cleaning coverage, which is really the only way paying the monthly premium makes sense. The denied my claim, despite the fact that it's covered, claiming that because there was a 25$ extraction it wasn't included in wellness. This wasn't mentioned anywhere in my policy. I never had this issue with lemonade.
