Very pleased with Spot
I have only used the claims process twice so far since signing up, but I have been really pleased with it. It's very easy to submit, and it takes just a few days from start until reimbursement is received. I looked at a lot of pet insurance companies before choosing Spot, and I am really happy with my choice.

The app is great
The app is easy to use to submit claims. Direct deposit reimbursement takes longer than I think it should. I’m not happy that the appointment charge is not covered if seeing a tech vs an actual vet.

Just like any insurance company they…
Just like any insurance company they don’t cover some pre-existing conditions that they actually should cover. Insurance is a scam period, including pet insurance. If your dog has cancer and then you try to get coverage that’s understandable. But if your dog has allergies and the insurance company refuses to cover it just because they’ve gotten an allergy shot before you got the insurance, that’s nonsense.
