Disappointing Experience
When I first started using Pets Best I was quite happy with them. I have three Olde English Bulldoggees that each have their own issues when it comes to their health. Our male has had skin issues his entire life, so I have not tried to file a claim with the insurance company when it comes to his skin flaring up. Several months ago, he was diagnosed with a double ear infection. His ears were cleaned out and he was put on meds to help clear up the infections. While I was at the vet, they informed me that they had a new shot that they could give him to help with his skin issues and allergies that he suffers from. I decided to try it to see if it would help his allergies. In the meantime, I sent a claim into Pets Best for his ear infections. The receipt from the vet also included the meds given to him for his allergies. Pets Best denied my claim. I appealed the claim by sending in all information requested by Pets Best including the original invoice, the appeals form and a letter from my vet stating that the ear infections were NOT caused by his allergies. Pets Best denied the claim again, stating they never received the letter from the vet. Again, I appealed the denial, and again I submitted the paperwork required - the original invoice, the appeal letter and the letter from my vet. This time I requested confirmation that all was received and that if they didn't receive the letter to let me know. I never heard anything back, until today. A letter came in the mail and denied our claim AGAIN!!! Let me just say, that I am extremely happy that I had decided to cancel my policy effective July 1, 2019 and switch carriers. I am very disappointed in the service that we have received and will NOT recommend this company ever again.

I have been a client now for 12 years. I have both of my chis. covered under this insurance. Your premiums are getting quite expensive.The reimbursement time (turn-around time) could be somewhat faster. However, you have provided good service.

I appreciate the quick turn around on the claims.
BOO ate a piece off of a toy and it lodged in his intestine. It required two major surgeries in 3 days. Even the doctors were amazed that he pulled through. He’s back home now after losing over 12% of his body weight. He’s back to terrorizing the rest of my pug family.

Very helpful, fast claim
My dog had an obstruction in his belly and was very sick and extremely close to surgery. Nationwide was very supportive and my claim went through with no hassles and I was able to receive reimbursement within just a few weeks. Thank you!
