I don't rate it at 10 because I think the premiums are high and I'm irritated that exams (to see what a problem is about or to see whether the treatment is helping) are not covered.

On the plus side the claims process is pretty easy. Better still - and this may say more about our current society's sorry state - I was delighted that when I called with questions I actually got a LIVE HUMAN (Aubrey) with excellent language skills. I did not have to wait forever online. The rest of the good news is that actually filing a claim is amazingly easy, and the review and results are done quickly. The process was very efficient. Overall, I'm glad we have the insurance.
I don’t know how I would have been able to provide Scarlett with the health care she needed without Trupanion. Vet bills are so high now a days. Trupanion processes claims and payments quickly. I am not sure whether or not I will get another cat but, if I do, it will be covered by Trupanion from day one. Thank you for wonderful service for my precious little angel while she was alive.

I called in to tell Trupanion how very thankful I was for their services. About 3 1/2 yrs ago, one of my cats began having pancreatitis flares. We were able to manage them as they appeared however about this time she went into a flare that took us over a month to get her out of. She was only off treatment for a couple of weeks and another flare appeared - worse and it took longer for her to recover. Late fall last year, it was apparent that in order to stablize and manage this disease, she needed regular treatments. I would not have been able to do this without Trupanion - and she would not be beside me now purring. I tell everyone that they need Trupanion. I am so thankful - my 2 cats are the only family I have. Without insurance, the decision would have been very different.
I called in and talked to your representative, Tammy. She was very knowledgable and was able to answer all my questions. She also assisted me in signing up for the insurance.
I believe Trupanion is a very reputable company, just had some reservations about pet insurance. Trupanion seems to stack up very well against other pet insurance companies.
