my German Shepard had a large hematoma
My German Shepard had a golf ball size hematoma on his neck that grew internally and wrapped around his jugular. This wouldn’t be an easy removal. My vet felt it would be safer to bring him to a specialist. During the entire process I was a wreak. TRUPANION gave me the support that I very much needed. They never made me feel I was a bother or that I was just another client among many. They did exactly what they said they would. I would absolutely recommend them. My dog is all healed and happy and so am I.

Chester is doing much better, thank for the email checking up on him. He still has an ear infection but it is much, much better. It is nice to know that Nationwide clearly does care about pets. Claims are always processed rapidly and with no issues. Customer service is always so nice and helpful.

Terrible claim processing
The claims process is terrible. 30 days to realize that nail trimming is covered under the wellness rider is ridiculous. And of course whenever theres a real procedure done they then send u a letter on the 28th day saying they need more time to look at the claim because they have so many claims open right now. Not to mention the constant struggle to make sure that the claim is being processed correctly and not forgotten
