Nationwide Pet Insurance has been great.
This policy has worked well for me and Tanner. My claims are reimbursed in 4 weeks, except for the last 2, which were reimbursed in about 2 days. That's amazing!

electronic claim submission not quite there yet
Scanned all documents as a PDF and emailed in the claim as directed. Claim was initially partially rejected because they couldn’t read the full multi-page PDF. I had verified the legibility of the scan prior to emailing, as well as opening the PDF on both MacOS and Windows systems. There was nothing wrong with the PDF. Someone at Nationwide simply did not scroll past the first two pages. I printed out the exact same PDF and sent by USPS and they paid the full claim. This company is just not ready to accept claims electronically, so save yourself time and effort and just mail the whole thing in.

Nationwide cares about my dog.
Gryphon is my third dog that I have enrolled in Nationwide. He is now eleven years old with heart disease ,and Nationwide has helped with Gryphon’s treatment and examinations. Having had a pet insurance policy for many years with this company, I am very happy with their coverage. The time for claims to be processed is quick and they are very easy to submit. Be sure to read the exclusions for the particular policy you may purchase.
