Ease of Claims Processing
The company is incredible with the ease of processing claims. You can start a claim via the mobile app or online. It’s very intuitive and the processing usually takes about a week (business days). Full receipts with detailed information can be found in an email with an attached pdf. They actually reimbursed me more than what I thought they were going to which was really nice to see!

Peace of Mind and Easy to Use
This service has been incredibly easy to use! Once I got the app all set up it takes me less than a minute to file a claim and the turnaround time for a claim is impressively short for dealing with insurance. Knowing that I have responsive insurance for a pup that likes to eat everything has given me so much peace of mind.

Nationwide Pet Insurance is the greatest!
We have had great experience with Nationwide Pet Insurance for at least 5 years. We plan to stick with it! Jackson had pneumonia when he was just a pup and he was diagnosed with epilepsy when he was young, at about 2 years old. We have relied on Nationwide many times!

Wait times for payment too long.
Excelent insurance coverage for price. Tha wait time for payout is far too long. I had occasion to pay $900 to the vet. Had to wait 3 to 4 weeks for payment. I can see this wait time causing real hardship for families

Great benefits and people!
I love the ease of submitting a claim via the VitusVet app. It allows me to enter all info in the app, take a picture of my invoice or receipt, then send it in! That's it! I then receive email confirmation that it was received and wait for my reimbursement direct deposit. Having this insurance let's us breathe a little easier whenever there's a medical issue with our dog, Waggles. Everyone is always friendly when we call for assistance and usually* the process is seamless and effortless. *Unfortunately, on more than one occasion, we have been advised from Nationwide that we haven't submitted the necessary information for our claim or that it's missing certain information, when it actually isn't. This causes a delay in the processing of our claim and ultimately our reimbursement. I only mention this because it hasn't been an isolated incident. It has happened quite a few times where I have had to fax in information that was already submitted in my original claim. Not sure why this happens, but it's my only *complaint* for Nationwide.

Awesome Pet Insurance!
I love this pet insurance! It covers everything! I fax over my claim, in 2 weeks I have a check for 90% of the cost. My dog needed to be hospitalized for eating something bad. I was relieved I had Nationwide. Got paid back quickly and am recommending it to who ever will listen.
