So Glad I have pet insurance
I waited my entire adult life for Blue. She is worth the wait. She is a gift to our whole family. Fun focused and fierce (in a good way) When we learned of her diagnosis at just 2 years old, we were devastated. But the silver lining was knowing we were covered with pet insurance. It makes decisions regarding her care no longer fraught with an additional emotional burden of thinking through the financial aspect of how much this costs. Having Blue in our lives? Beyond worth and words. Having pet insurance? Priceless.

I never had pet insurance before so I can't compare to other providers. But I'm so happy with the service I received from nationwide this is my second year. Although it works on a reimbursement basis I'm not as hesitant to incur the expense knowing claims are processed fairly and rapidly. My four footers are getting all the care they need. The Tele-vet service has also given helpful fixes for the problem avoiding unnecessary trips to the vet.

I’ve had to recently submit claims for my dog. After my deductible was met, I promptly received a reimbursement check for the tests my dog received. I wad reimbursed the total amount billed minus 10% since I opted for 90% reimbursement. Very pleased with the ease of submitting the claim and the prompt response. Thank you!

Honest,appropriate wait times for reimbursements
I had been paying for injury and illness insurance for my cat from the age of four (he's eight now). Until recently, I had never really had to claim for any of my animals, so my husband made fun of me for this extra expense. July 2nd of this year, my cat stopped eating. After 6 weeks of diagnostic wonder and testing (and, in total, over $6k in bills), he recently came back positive for stomach cancer. Without ASPCA health insurance, we would have never been able to afford the diagnostic testing that allowed us to consider all of our treatment options for our beloved pet. They approved claims within about two weeks, and we had reimbursement checks within the month (often sooner). They're even covering (90%) the OTC and prescription meds he needs between appointments. If I would recommend anything to loving pet owners, it would be to get health insurance for their pets. It made the difference in my family.

Knowing The Financial Ease was Coming was HUGE
Our poor little Italian Greyhound has suffered two breaks in the past year. For the first break, we didn't have pet insurance so the financial burden was huge. When she broke her paw recently, after the stress of dealing with the surgeries, it was good to know some relief was coming. Reaching out to Nationwide was easy and we got responses quickly on how to file the claim, what forms to use and what we needed to submit with it. We received a check on the quicker side, I expected it to drag out over six months and it didn't, another huge relief! Thank you Nationwide! And Noodle thanks you too!

ASPCA is an excellent pet insurance…
ASPCA is an excellent pet insurance company, although sometimes it takes a little long to pay out claims. The process however is really simple if you have the app and I like the direct deposit option. All in all they are pleasant and helpful to interact with.

Good decision, good company
Had made decision to insure next kitten years before we got. This insurance was offered through work-never checked any other. Mr. Whiskers was a rescue shelter kitty and was a sick mess so insurance came with some pre-existing conditions that are not covered. (All were cured and have not reappeared) Insurance also does not cover chronic conditions. Fortunately he has none-all issues have been curable. He has a sensitive tummy and will sniff then taste then swallow anything on the floor so we have had a fair share of claims that have all been handled quickly and fair. We pay yearly and it is a rather large chunk of money but so far has been worth it. As most insurance policies I think they make out a bit better than we do but with this kitty you never know what can happen so it is worth the piece of mind. He is 3 years old and remains very happy and reasonable healthy. Claims are very easy to submit on line.
