I am beginning to think pet insurance is a farce
Insurance rates literally doubled this year. Wellness program l- buy $250 cap for $216, ridiculous. Anesthesia cost split between 2 procedures because one was not covered. It was not extra for the uncovered procedural; cat was already out. Between 2 visits, $1500 bill in a week and the the deductible we got $60. I suppose it’s best to have it in case something happens. However, I am starting to think if one put the cost of insurance for the year and added a small amount into an emergency pet fund every month, it would be much better financially.

I recommend Pets Best to everyone I speak to. My dog got his insurance with Pets Best when he was under a year old. He will be 12 this coming Christmas Eve.
