Update: Pets WORST Health Insurance
Horrible company. Their policy clearly states that a pre-existing condition is one that occurred in the 12 months prior to the policy issuance. I purchased a policy for my Dog in February 2019. The only thing that happened in the 12 months prior was a ACL replacement (TPL). When he was younger he did have skin allergies, but they were controlled with immunotherapy prior to 2014. In May he had a mysterious skin infection. They denied $435 of his treatment and accepted $22 towards deductible and said it was pre-existing. They tried to tell me how they did accept some on the phone. This is hilarious. These guys are clowns. In no way is it pre-existing as he has not received any treatment for skin related issues since prior to 2014. I will be reporting these scam artists to the state insurance board. They are not to at all trustworthy. Update: In response to Pet's Best. It is clearly stated in your policy documents, which I have since forwarded on the the insurance board, "A. PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS: In determining which Conditions are Pre-Existing, we look at the 18 months preceding the Policy Effective Date and exclude any Conditions that were Present during that period." Update 2: Actually the policy is not clear. I only typed the first paragraph because I do not have time to waste retyping the whole policy. And it was not a chronic condition. It was completely cured before the end of 2014 from immunotherapy. Besides the skin infection that he just had was not definitively linked to allergies. It is of unknown origin. Its great the responses Pets Worst is giving because it shows their true nature and how they will shaft you too.

Healthy Paws cares for my dog and me, it’s more impressive than my human insurance!
I am beyond satisfied and grateful for this pet insurance. They have come through for me whenever I have had a health issue with my dog. The claims process is quick and easy to navigate and I always get paid out quickly . The customer service reps are kind and friendly. This insurance is outstanding I always recommend to my friends. Even those without pets - that’s how impressive they are! So glad I did my research and picked Healthy Paws for my beloved pooch!

The deductible was a bit confusing at…
The deductible was a bit confusing at first but once we talked with someone about it, and knew when the new deductible started over for the year we have been pleased. Our dog had quite some health issues since February and the insurance really put our mind at ease financially. We would also receive our money back promptly after we would file our claim. Pleased with this insurance!

Finally, a Pet Health Insurance Company with Integrity!
I have had coverage for my cat Swirley for about 5 years now and until now, previously made only one tiny claim. Now my cat has been diagnosed with hyperthyroid, a common condition for older cats and expensive. My experience with pet healthcare insurance companies before was that as soon as you actually needed them, they would find any excuse to reject your claim. All they wanted to do was to collect premiums and deny as much care as possible. (Gee, that sounds exactly like what the greedy human healthcare insurance companies do!) Embrace was different. I did have one claim denied, but that was because the vet didn't write up the claim form correctly. But Embrace made it very easy to appeal their previous denial and after the situation was explained to them, they corrected it and covered the claim. Embrace has lots of different plans and some very low deductibles. It is much better than any previous pet health insurance company I have ever had. Wish they would start running plans for humans, ha! I'd join in a heart beat!
