ASPCA is always accurate and timely in paying my submitted claims. They have handled claims I submitted both from our regular vet and the emergency clinic. The benefit is designed with simplicity and is generous. Planning to keep them for as long as I have my dog (and I hope that will be a long time).

the most efficient insurance company with the fastest reimbursement.
we’ve claimed multiple times for fees at the vet that exceed $100. recently we had to have an $7,000 emergency surgery performed on or pup and healthypaws reimbursed 90% in less than a week! then they sent an email checking in on her. truly the best.

Healthy Paws has been a God sent. I can’t say enough good things about them. We got it about six months after we got our pup. My sister’s dog was around 11 and she had a lot of vet bills for her. We thought we would get pet insurance to use when our dog got older. Just before his 2nd birthday we got the devastating news that he had cancer. There were a lot of pathology tests, xrays, and a CT. All of that showed that we need to quickly to remove the tumor. The tumor was in his mouth, so the surgery involved removing some of his mouth and cheek. It was such a stressful time. Everything happened so quickly. After every appointment we would take a picture of the receipt and submit it using the app on our phone. We had heard horrible stories about pet insurances that wouldn’t cover anything and were a bit nervous. It took a few weeks for them to get everything they needed from out vet, but not long after that our claims started getting approved. We didn’t have the money to pay for all of the bills and had to put it on credit cards. The bills totaled over $7,000 and we received over $5,000 back from Healthy Paws. The claims process was easy and moved fairly quickly after the first claim was approved. I recommend this pet insurance to everyone I talk to about my dog and what happened to him.

Wouldn’t be short
I think it’s the dumbest thing in the world to pay you money monthly for insurance only to have to come out of pocket upfront then be reimbursed. ALL insurances work in a way that they cover a percentage then you cover the difference, not in your case it’s ass backwards and now MY PET has to wait for a surgery she needs because we have to save up the money first. I will be looking into other options.
