You are the best insurance company I've had for anything!
I refer you to everyone! I love the ease if submitting claims, your prompt processing times, and the excellent care coverage I have for Cinny. She gained 1/2 lb on her new diet, and is feeling much better.

Happy with coverage
I have been happy with coverage. I designed my policy with a high deductible and low yearly premium with the idea that it would be there for a major event to help. Twice I have reached the deductible because of an on-going digestive issue that requires regular vet visits and diagnostic test. They have paid promptly and reviewed claims promptly. One key thing.. get the .insurance with any of these companies when your pet first arrives home, otherwise they all have prohibitions re coverage of pre-existing conditions (the same rules that existed for humans before the federal health care law was enacted). When I read reviews, that is the most common complaint that they won't cover a pre-existing condition. I also like that their deductible is per year, not per illness as some companies offer.

ASPCA saved our dog
Our dogger had a really bad and recurrent bladder/intestinal infection. The bills were adding up and quick; over 6mos the total hovered somewhere around $5,000. I’m not sure how we would’ve handled that without ASPCA. After meeting our $250 deductible, our out of pocket was around $500. (So total $750 vs $5,000) Claims took 2-3wks to reimburse, which I felt was a reasonable amount of time. I didn’t have to consider our finances (as much) when deciding on a treatment plan. I was able to make the best decisions for my dogger (that’s a play on dog and daughter in case you’re wondering). I can not recommend ASPCA enough. It baffles me when people DON’T have it! Get it BEFORE you need it. Get it as soon as you adopt, purchase (ugh), inherit, etc. *If you can’t afford ASPCA insurance, you can’t afford the out-of-pocket care either. In other words, you can’t afford to NOT have ASPCA pet insurance.

Scam for pets
If your looking for pet insurance look else where, this company is a scam. I've been paying out of pocket for my dog and with thia insurance they keep denying me saying my dog has a pre exisiting condition. How does my dog have a preexisiting condition if she was recently diagnosed with seasonal allergies months before get the insurance? Im at a lose of words and now money. I paid the yearly option, so now i've wasted that in the garbage because they keep denying every claim i submit despite other issues that are not related with my dogs allergies. The worat insurance hands down. Keep looking becauae this is not worth the money and the frustration.
