Super easy claim process, just wish payouts were a bit faster
We’ve been with Pumpkin for two years now. We didn’t have to file any claims during our first year, but this past year we had to submit several. When I was shopping around initially, Pumpkin wasn't the cheapest premium estimate I received, but I'm really glad we went with them. The process of filing a claim is incredibly quick and simple. My only real minor complaint is that the reimbursement payout is on the slower side. To be fair, that might be because I don't have direct deposit set up, so they have to mail me physical checks, but it's still worth noting. Overall, the ease of the claim process itself makes the slightly higher premium worth it. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone looking for hassle-free filing.

Sargent Tibbs and Trupanion
Our Sargent Tibbs was a very affectionate cat with a bad habit of stealing his brother's food as well as people food. Cheese bread being his favorite. Unfortunately, this led to him blocking. With help from our vet, the animal hospital, and online help with a Trupanion rep, we were able to submit our claim to Trupanion and were covered for $10k+. We got 2 more years with him as a result until his passing in January of 2026.
