Have had pet insurance for many dogs over the years . Couldn't have afforded the costly treatments without the insurance.

Nationwide Pet Insurance helps you keep your Pet healthy and happy so that you have extra years with them.
The best investment that we ever made was in purchasing Nationwide Insurance for our pets. We are able to give them all the needed appointments, x-rays, surgeries, blood work, etc. to keep them healthy so that we are able to spend additional years with them. I have 4 dogs and because of Nationwide, one is now able to now see, the other able to walk, infections were cured and other minor/major problems. There 24 hour phone service is an added benefit. If you were ever thinking of purchasing pet insurance, please contact Nationwide - you would be glad that you did.

Trupanion let me focus on my precious Jade
Jade our rescue who is about 10 yrs old was found to have a growth in her rectum area by her regular Vet. After a blood test - a referral was made to Bluepearl Speciality Vet Hospital as there was cause for concern based on results. The Drs at Bluepearl hospital were very attentive and recommended a CT scan to see what was there. Our first thought was Jade and getting her better -- it was hard to digest all the medical jargon and options and possible causes. The thought of cost didn't even hit us until after they took Jade for the CT scan. At that point I was asked if i had insurance and YES! I had Trupanion ! Within minutes the hospital sent an estimate to Trupanion and it was pre-approved with a copy to me detailing the amount we had to cover and what Trupanion would cover. The bill was close to $3000 - and my part was under $400. Though not a small amount -- considerably smaller than the entire bill which would have put us over the edge. Trupanion really saved our precious girl. In the end, other tests and biopsy were done -- Trupanion came through every time. Our little Jade is recuperating now safely at home and we are sooo happy to have her back at home -- and to have TRUPANION -- THANK YOU SO MUCH!! We wish there were more words to tell you how grateful we are. Thank you again:)

Regret not getting insurance sooner on all of my dogs!
I honestly wish I had gotten insurance on all of my other dogs. I have a dog with Addison's disease who I didn't have insurance on, so when we got our Great Dane mix, we knew we had to. I have no regrets! Nationwide has been amazing. It is so easy to submit a claim and electronically receive money. I would highly recommend pet insurance through Nationwide!

Expensive but worth it
The premium is expensive but like all insurance you hope you don't need it, but glad you do when you need it.

Repeated injuries from vicious stray
Shadow was an “accidental rescue” years ago. A confirmed alleycat who we eventually semi-tamed to stay indoors at night, sort of. Apparently, there is a new ( obviously non-neutered male cat ) prowling around and has it in for shadow who continually attacks him and sent him to the hospital 😖 We are doing what we can to keep them safe. Thank you for checking! We really appreciate nationwide backing us up for his medical needs and we’re very happy that we continued pain year in and year out for his medical insurance!
