Thanks to Healthy Paws, Bailey and I are still building memories together!
Bailey, my German Shepherd, is my first dog/cat that I have bought health insurance for and I am so very glad that I did. I researched ahead of time and Healthy Paws was my choice. When he collapsed a few weeks ago, I had no idea what path we were headed down. Suddenly it was test after test, specialist after specialist and to be honest, if I hadn't known that I had my policy with Healthy Paws, I would have had to stop at the first appointment. As it is, Bailey has had surgery, has started chemo and it doing amazing. Submitting claims was super easy and the receipt of payment from Healthy Paws came quickly once they had the needed information. Thank you Healthy Paws for allowing Bailey and I to continue our life journey together!

Overall happy with the insurance except for 1 claim that was a blood test and nationwide didn’t cover it
Like I said twice my vet put in a claim that was fora blood panel for $180.00 dollars and nationwide didn’t cover it because there wasn’t enough information on the test all though other test just like that were covered in the past. Just a little upsetting.

A shining light during a tough time
Our cat was recently diagnosed with cancer, which has been really, really tough, but Trupanion has been a bright light through this process. Trupanion has covered 90% of about $10k in medical bills, with a super simple claims process (one form plus receipts) and a response/reimbursement within a week. Because of Trupanion, we can focus our energy on helping our precious baby cat get better. I am so very, very grateful.

Better than "People" Insurance!
Filing claims is so simple! I fax and forget. The explanation of benefits is simple to read and payments are quick. The few times I've had to call customer service have been very good. Friendly, patient representatives who never talk down, they just explain and answer all questions.

Great Customer Service
I am very fortunate to have this insurance coverage for my Belle. This recent emergent condition scared me so bad, so having the insurance was a blessing and calming factor during all of this. Great turn around time on the reimbursement was also very impressive. Easy/simple claim form was a plus too. I truly appreciated the follow up call from Shelly this week checking on Belle and checking on my satisfaction. Thank you so much for making my life less stressful when it comes to my dogs health. I’ve never had any problems since I started using AKC pet insurance. I’ve had a couple of big claims to process with them. Commmunication and contact with representatives are great, they care about your needs and are efficient with responses and making sure you understand everything. Scamp's policy was recently renewed and I read through the exclusions and was really surprised at how much is not covered. It has made me think that maybe having the highest coverage that you offer is worth it. On average I spend $200+ on insurance a month for 2 dogs and I spend over $100 a month on their food that is Veterinary recommended and $200+ every six months on medicine. I am going to review it closer when I have time. On the whole I have been very pleased with some of my claims and not so much with others.
