15 years of experience with two dogs under the protection of Pets Best. My oldest Dog, Smitty, recently passed, but he lived a good life because I never hesitated to see a Vet or spend my limited resources to give him the best of care. I felt that I had a very sincere and personal relationship when It was necessary to seek help from the customer care staff, We had a major scare for Smitty right after our move to Idaho and the Spokane Valley. Smitty appeared to have ingested poison resulting in an autoimmune disease of his nail beds. It required many different medications and trips to the Vet. Fortunately, Pets Best stayed the course for the suffering Smitty endured to the end of his life. My orher friend Ian is also insured by Pets Best Health. Since both my dogs were rescue dogs, they came with unexpected problems and health issues but I will always be grateful for the wonderful converage and service we receive from Pets Best Heath Insurance.

So thankful we had this, even if we did have to wait a bit
Our cat Cindy has never been sick a day in her life until this month when she inexplicably stopped eating and all activity and just slept for about a week. We took her in and while we are extremely relieved that the medications and tests ran have made her her old self again, we got major sticker shock of how much we had to pay upfront for her treatment. I’m so relieved we had Embrace Pet Insurance. Knowing we were covered made it a less stressful time, knowing that we could pay what we needed to get her better without breaking the bank. It probably saved her life. My only issue was that during the process of getting our claims validated, the system said that there was no diagnosis listed on the claims form and they reached out to our vet, which my vet verified they did not; so my vet had to fax over the info and while two of the claims were processed almost right away, I had to email to re-examine the third because it still came up as needing a diagnosis to move forward when the diagnosis when now listed. But once it got reopened it was verified and settled the same day. Thank you Embrace!

Happy with PetsBest for over a decade
So, we've been with PetsBest for 10+ years, with policies for our three cats, all of them rescues from shelters, including Smoky, who made it to 18 years old before he passed earlier this year. Smoky had multiple health challenges and medications, and the staff at PetsBest were the absolute best at helping us decide the best care that we could afford on our budget (we're retired). PetsBest has always been an awesome partner, just as important as our vet.

I just wanted to say how impressed I was with the speed of processing my claims and depositing the reimbursement in my checking account. AWESOME SERVICE! I was somewhat reluctant in purchasing insurance but am so glad that I did. Who knew that sixteen months later that Roxie would need surgery? I spent a fortune on my last dog only…
I spent a fortune on my last dog only to have him pass 9 months later. When I got a new pup I decided to get Trupanion. Wouldn’t you know this dog has liver problems. It took 1day to hit his deductible and then Trupanion pays 90% less the office visit charge. This has already saved us thousands. I am beyond satisfied with Trupanion. Also, the premium is only $20 a month.

Best pet insurance, hands down
I have been a client of Nationwide Pet Insurance for over 10 years. I've had both my french bulldogs covered under their various policies. In the last few years, I've had the whole pet with wellness rider plan. It covers 90% of all our expenses after our deductible. It is expensive (and this last years rate hike was extreme) but I decided to stay with the same coverage. The coverages give me a real piece of mind. If next years price increase jumps nearly $100 again I will look into switching companies. So Nationwide please take this into consideration. While I understand that insurance costs reflect a multitude of factors - at the rates, I am now paying - the least insurance companies should do is try and get the costs we pay per year deducted on our taxes. Use your influence and lobbyists; our animals are a part of our family.
