Finely Paid fast insted of 4 or 5 weeks
It took a year but Finely Paid fast instead of 4 or 5 weeks , the other thing that needs to happen really bad is show US the CUSTOMER as we pay your wages is that we ALL want to know how the deductible is ALWAYS what has been met and what's left, etc. make it easy for US . Been complaining about this for 1 year now, and I may give each dog 1 more year to see if this gets fixed SOON !! Thanks You , Jeff K Bernard Olive And Opal are doing fine. !

French Bulldog IVDD Surgery Covered!
Wasn't sure what to expect when getting pet insurance from Nationwide. Never have gotten it before, but got it for our French Bulldog when he was 1 years old. The price seemed fair at first, it started to rise and i started to question if it was even worth it after a few years, but a few months ago our French Bulldog started to have some pain in his neck. After many vet visits and seeing specialists, he ended up getting an MRI that revealed he had a hernated/ruptured disc in his neck and surgery was highly recommended before it gets worse which could lead to paralysis in his hind legs, loss of deep pain sensation, loss of bladder control, etc. We ended up opting for the surgery not knowing if it would be covered, and if it were covered, we weren't sure if it would be capped out at a certain amount. After filing the claim, which is one of the easiest processes i have seen, we were notified it was covered after about 3 weeks of review. At this point i will be keeping the pet insurance forever and would highly recommend Nationwide to friends and family.

No issues and fast response
They have fast response time, great communication and explanations. No issues with getting approved or any issues with payment. They cover chiro and acupuncture and so happy i have insurance on my pup! Last year they did raise my premium, but i think it is close to industry average...so hoping this year it doesn't raise by much.

JUST DO IT!
Anyone who has pets knows their care can be expensive. Anyone who owns a BiG dog will tell you they are VERY expensive!! After having had operations on 2 Newfoundlands and 1 St. Bernard, we decided to get insurance for our newest Newfoundland members, Jazzy and Reggie. Sadly, Jazzy passed away 2 yrs ago after having numerous surgeries and condidtions requiring medicines that were astronomical in price. It was a terrific comfort to know that Healthy Paws was there to cover it all; never 'kicking' her off the plan. Reggie, 7 y/o was our most healthy Newfie until he was 4. Suddenly, his back legs were giving out. After xrays and an mri he was diagnosed with Wobbler's disease. Two herniated discs in his neck. He was operated on within a week of the diagnosis. The cost of just that surgery was over $10,000.00. Healthy paws was there for him (and us!). Reggie healed quicker than I thought possible and remained healthy until last year. After moving to another state he began having issues with his left leg. Ultimately, he had TPLO surgery Oct. '18; another $4,000.00. He recently became violently ill after having 2 doses of Carprofen after his tooth cleaning. Two nights in the hospital, $1,800.00. He had 2 molars that needed to be pulled or root canaled; $3,958.00. I submitted the invoice thinking they might pay for the anesthesia and blood tests. Healthy Paws paid the entire amount allowed! In the span of 7 months, I submitted over $10,000.00 again and they didn't blink an eye. Reggie, a.k.a, Cosmos Gift, meets many people daily, (often stopping traffic) bringing them smiles as he is the best Newfoundland ambassador. Everyone who tells me they own or want to own a giant breed dog, gets my lecture about care, cost and HEALTHY PAWS INSURANCE. I only wish Healthy Paws would get into the people insurance business! My praise may sound over the top; I assure you it's all true. Since my financial situation changed, they are even more important in my life.

Healthy Paws is the BEST!
Healthy Paws is the absolute best pet insurance on the planet. The customer Service that they provide is top notch! Recently my 15 month puppy became ill with pneumonia and was not responding to the anabiotic’s. During the month she was hospitalized overnight 5 different times at two different emergency hospitals. We had multiple rounds of x-rays and bloodwork as well as two medical procedures that needed Anastasia. My puppy is a rescue and I had only had her insured with Healthy Paws for three months. During the month she was ill I called Healthy Paws a few times because I was concerned about the rising vet costs nearing $10,000.00 and if they were going to continue covering her. The customer service agents were so kind, they listened with compassion and support and assured me they would continue to cover her medical procedures. Their only concern was that my puppy get better. I highly recommend Healthy Paws Pet Insurance!

Reasonably quick reimbursement. In the 5 years I've had this coverage this was the first year I had to file multiple claims for my dog for an undiagnosed illness All claims were paid out fairly and in accordance with my policy limits. Online claim submissions are simple and straightforward and reimbursements are deposited directly in my account, usually within 1 week
