Terrible company very deceptive they hook you in with all the smooth talk then when it comes time to paying out they deny the claims 7/17/19-Denied said it was pre existing (4-10-19) 8/7/19-Denied said it was pre existing (4-10-19) 9/1/19-Still in review 9/30/19-Still in review 10/24/19-Still in review 10/25/19- Still in review The first two were denied because they say it was pre existing condition from 4/10/19 considering I just bought my puppy on 4/6/19 and only had for for days. On the 10th I took her for a wellness check. Needless to say I am seeking quotes from other companies Avoid this company

Greatly appreciate the very quick reimbursement payment for my cat's unexpected surgery which left me financially strapped.
Wonderful service from Nationwide for my cats. My one cat had an unexpected surgery for tooth extraction and Nationwide was extremely quick with reimbursement and even sent me a kind message checking in on my cat and making sure he was OK. Things were financially tight and their quick turnaround in payment was extremely appreciated.

The process itself is easy but...
The process itself is easy, but it took a month and a half for them to process my claim. They claim they have a “fast claims” process which is extremely untrue. For anyone who needs reimbursement quickly, this is not the insurance company for you.

If I have a dog, I have Healthy Paws Insurance
My dog has had a rough first 3 years. I signed up for Healthy Paws the week I adopted my dog Dex & it turned out to be the best thing I ever did. Dex started showing signs of pain shortly after he came home. Thanks to Healthy Paws I have been able to get him tested, diagnosed & treated for his discospondylitis. This has been extremely expensive & I am not sure I would have been able to get Dex the treatment he needed without insurance. He has since started to get better & is so happy & the healthiest he has ever been. I truly don't know where I or Dex would be without Healthy Paws. They have been there every step of the way & I can't thank them enough.
