New policy
I know the policy changed due to fraud hitting my account. I’m hoping this new policy is similar as stated including cremation in that god willing awful event that I’m not looking forward to. Jesus was completely understanding and helpful. I do like the dental benefits that are now included.

No run-around, quick payouts, and little red tape
I was prompted to review Healthy Paws after my dog was treated in October of 2025, but I wanted to share my thoughts on Healthy Paws for all three dogs I've used it with. * It is very easy to submit bills by taking a photo on your phone and uploading it to the site. Most of the time, no follow-up or additional materials are required. When my old dog had emergency bloat surgery, I was afraid it wouldn't be covered. It was, and the subsequent issues were also covered. It made a very difficult time a little easier. * The payout method has improved. It used to take a few weeks, but now it appears to be about a week to receive reimbursement. * I really appreciate how easy the process is to submit a claim. Most of the time, there is no need to do anything else except wait for the reimbursement. * Healthy Paws is the only insurance company I've used for dogs so I don't have anything to compare it to, however I've maintained policies for three dogs since 2017 and continue to recommend it to other dog owners. I've had to make very tough decisions in the past and this takes the pain out of bringing your dog to the vet with an emergency situation.
