Easy claim processing

Incredibly simple and easy pet insurance

Any time I have needed to call Nationwide with a question (I was changing employers, changing my name, had a coverage question), the customer service team has been so kind, warm, and helpful. Interacting with them feels like talking with a small business team, not a corporate giant. Also, my pet recently had an injury and to my amazement, my insurance worked exactly as expected (I guess my expectations when it comes to insurance are kind of low, and I am a bit skeptical). I've been promptly reimbursed for my claims (the claim form is super easy) without any tricks or surprises. Purchasing this policy has been a great decision for me (and my cat!).

Extremely difficult to work with

The claims i submit are a constant battle with Nationwide. I am still appealing one that was considered a "preexisting" condition, but really isn't. Its a matter of Nationwide not wanting to pay out the claims. I have another claim i need to submit an appeal to because the medical records weren't specific enough even though Willow's vet stated what the visit was for. Nationwide owes me over $1,000 in unpaid reimbursements and I will continue to fight until i get my rightful reimbursements.

Great service and easy claim procedures

We are very happy that Jake had Nationwide pet insurance when he was diagnosed with D.M. Having the insurance we were able to afford all the diagnostic tests and although there is no cure we are giving him the therapies he needs to continue to live a full life. The claim system is very easy to use and we receive our payments fast We highly recommend Nationwide Pet insurance to any person looking for pet insurance

so glad we have Nationwide Insurance!!

Our sweet 3 year old English Lab, Rosie, recently came down with the potentially fatal salmon poisoning and it was a scary 3 days. Thankfully we did have pet insurance and never had to worry about the cost: which was close to $3000.00: our policy is fantastic and paid most of our bill; Phew!! Thanks Nationwide for being there for us and our wonderful Rosie:))

Disappointed

You guys do a really good job. I just had one issue a few weeks ago when I called in to inquire about a claim. The phone rep from nationwide didn’t seem to know how to answer my questions. Other then that I’m happy with nationwide
