The ease of using the insurance at the vets even though the vet was not trained on it and almost refused to run the charges they. The peace of mind on a chance accident was more than worth the money.

Relieved - with a capital “R”
I wasn’t too sure about having pet insurance. I never had it before and have had many animals through out my life. But I was happy that I decided to take it this time with my new puppy. He somehow, as puppy’s chew all the time, swallowed plastic from a toy as well as from the clasps on his collar. He chews everything. His kennel looked like a murder scene. He was throwing up blood, pooping plastic pieces. It was bad. Our bill was reduced to half of what we were charged. I can’t express how relieved we were to be able to say yes, please do all these things for our puppy because Trupanion was there to help us. Thank you!

MetLife Insurance Saved my Kitty's Life
I have had MetLife Pet Insurance since I adopted my boy cat as a kitten, with an incredible plan that I was offered due to their partnership with the shelter. They have covered preventative care including flea/tick/heartworm medications, vaccines, and annual visits. He is only 3 years old but recently had a urinary block, and having insurance made the emergency life-or-death decision making about his health rather than the limits on what I could afford. He will need a prescription diet going forward, and with my plan it should be covered. I could not be more grateful to have this insurance! The best plan I could have found. Excellent coverage and peace of mind--well worth the monthly investment.

Metlife Petinsurance is awesome! Easy to use and always covers needed items for my cats. They are quick to reimburse as well. I feel their monthly fees are very reasonable.

Plan selection was easy, but coverage was unclear.
Selecting options was easy, however, it was unclear what was covered without the optional preventative care. For instance, is spaying covered under the plan, or is the optional preventative insurance required for that to be covered. And at what level is it covered.

I have nothing bad to say about…
I have nothing bad to say about Metlife. Sure it can take sometimes 2 or 3 weeks to get reimbursed, but I haven't had any problems getting reimbursed. They have been a life saver to me! I love the peace of mind that comes with knowing I am covered if my fur babies have an emergency or illness. I also really am so grateful they help pay for prescription pet food. I've had a cat with rodent ulcers and allergies that have been a nightmare to figure out what's causing them. Metlife is such a blessing to me!
