Very happy
I signed up with Pets Best 5 years ago and was very happy with you. However I was offered a Pet Insurance at a lower price from an employer and I made the mistake of making the change. I decided to return to Pets Best as I was not happy with the new company. When I returned my cost went up due to his age and pre existing conditions as now he was a new client. I was disappointed in that, but I still prefer Pets Best as the insurance company for Bailey, even though my monthly payment has increased now.

Great service
Our choc lab had surgery 3-4 months ago and it was expensive, I did not have to worry about PetsBest at all. They did what they were supposed to and contacted the vet on our behalf. All the worry was to get our baby recovered to get him healthy. We had pain meds to follow his surgery and it was a completely painless process to get reimbursed for those as well.

Increasing yearly cost is a disappointment.
Originally bought insurance through VPI and cost was preset. Once it was bought out by Nationwide the price has gone up every year and I don’t get as much back with the exact same plan.

Better than nothing!
Due to receiving a union discount I decided to go with Nationwide and I can't say I have had too many complaints. I've had my girl for a year and I signed up for it within days of adopting her (she was 8-9 weeks old) and since then I've paid around $1,700 in vet bills; I have been reimbursed for around 28% of it as of November 2019. Not a whole lot in the grand scheme of things but it's better than nothing. I opted for the Major Medical Plan with a Wellness Rider so at least some of her wellness visits were reimbursed. Again, not the best but it certainly gives me peace of mind!

Best pet insurance with quick reimbursement
Healthy Paws is truly the best pet insurance out there. Their coverage is very comprehensive and I have never had any problems submitting any claims. No questions asked the reimbursement is usually deposited in my account within a few days. I strongly recommend healthy paws to anyone who is looking to get pet insurance.
