I am very pleased with the quick response time on my submitted claims
Claims are paid timely. Am pleased to say with Eppe’s recent cruciate ligament tear and treatment from the vet it looks like he will not require surgery at this time!

Fastest claim turnaround yet
I've been happy with Nationwide since I started my first policy for my dog Moxie in 2007, later adding on 2 cats and my dog Juno as I adopted them. We had to let Moxie go at the end of 2018, but having insurance allowed us to have an extra year with her as it helped a lot with the cost of very expensive cancer treatments. She had a great last year and peaceful passing and we all needed that. My cat Hedwig was very sick and not doing well on thyroid meds, but is now thriving again after surgery. Juno has had a few minor infections and injuries, including the most recent claim for an infected cyst. I was reimbursed for nearly the entire amount this time--usually I get at least half the cost of a visit back, depending on the policy, pet, and issue. This claim was also very fast: It was direct deposited to me in about 10 days. Insurance isn't cheap, but so worth it for the peace of mind.

Great
Everyone that I talk to when I call is so nice and pleasant and I feel like I’m talking to one of my friends. They always ask how my pet is by name doing and the experience is very nice. I don’t have to worry about anything. It makes things very pleasant over the phone and knowing that each and every person that I talk to really cares and you can tell that they love their fur babies and are animal lovers.

Smooth sailing to get compensated for a year of multiple dog surgeries
After two surprise CCL surgeries for my young American Staffordshire Terrier this year, I could not be more happy with HealthyPaws as an insurer -- leaving me asking why my pet's health insurance process is easier and better than my human health insurance processes?! No fuss, no mess. HealthyPaws makes submitting a claim and receiving compensation for it easy. I'd love to be able to provide some additional context via the app's invoice submissions, but they are always responsive to follow-up via email once the submission is made, so it isn't a big deal.

Save your money.
I'm not impressed with the insurance product we've purchased. I didn't listen to naysayers that said nearly everything would be excluded and I'm learning the hard way. We're currently shopping for an alternative; if that doesn't get us what we're wanting, we will bank the premiums we're paying now to offset future expense.
