They make it pretty easy, once you know the system
The first few months with Nationwide was a little bumpy. They required eight months of medical records, and took awhile to process things. But now we're in the flow, and it's all good. Considering that my 11-year-old English bulldog seems to get one malady after another these days, it's important that the system is easy, which it is, and they pay quickly, which they do. The insurance plus deductible is about $750 a year, and I probably got a little more in payments this year than I paid.

Vet Checkup for Cora
On 10/25 took Cora to my vet for checkup after adoption from shelter on 10/9, and visit to emergency clinic on 10/10. Because of that visit I purchased Pets Best insurance to cover future expenses. To my surprise and very happy that Pets Best reimbursed the majority of my total cost that included office visit and prescribed meds. I purchased a plan that covers teeth cleaning, a wise decision since this is something Cora will need due to her being a stray. On-line claim processing was easy and quick.
