Confident
I’ve had my Insurance Policy for over 10 years. Luckily my Dog has been Healthy Now that he is older he is having a few issues with is back legs. I had him checked out with MRI and Spinal Tap. Happy to say he does Not need an Operation just a bit of Physical Therapy. Nationwide has Been right there for him and covered his Medical bills as soon as they receive them

Unhappy with New Underwriters
I'm unhappy that Figo has chosen a new company to underwrite their policies. I'm even more unhappy that pre-existing users were not given the option to be grandfathered into their old plan, but instead were forced to swap. Under the new plan(s): - Emergency exam fees are not automatically covered, - There is no option for the old $200 deductible, and - The 90% reimbursement rate is roughly 25% more expensive than it was previously (for me, although I'm reading here that it has near doubled for some). Ultimately I'll keep Figo because I do appreciate how quickly claims are handled and their customer service response time is unparalleled, but I am disappointed with how they've chosen to roll out this change.

Good, wish explanations were more clear
Overall, I am happy with Nationwide. The only area I find disappointing is the limits and not clear explanation of coverage. Our dog was in the ER 2 weeks in a row and the 2nd week nothing was covered at all. Even though the week before some items weren't even done. So it is just hard to understand the denial of some areas.

You make it so easy to file a claim. We don’t have pet insurance on our oldest dog, and she is having man health issues. If I had Nationwide for her, like I do for my puppy, this would be so much less stressful. I will never have another pet without this insurance.
