Mass Removal Deductibles
I have been using Trupanion since my dog was 8 weeks old and he is now 6 and i have never had to use it or file a claim. He had 2 lumps on him that appeared at the same time so I had them removed in one surgery with biopsies since it was unclear what they were. Trupanion worked right with my vet which was great except the fact that I was charged 2 detectable's. So instead of 200 for one surgery it was 400. I was told this is because they came back as 2 different lumps even though there was one surgery to be performed for both of them. I just honestly think this is ridiculous as the surgery was one event. I am not going to put my dog through 2 surgeries and if that was the case the bill would have been even higher for Trupanion to pay. I just think it is misleading because I was expecting to pay 200, not 400 because I considered this one event.
