Great first time experience
I have a 4 month old pug puppy that had an unknown allergic reaction and had to spend the night in the emergency room. Healthy Paws processed my claim the same week that I submitted it and I received payment towards my bill the following week. Excellent customer service both during and after the visit. I wish I didn't need to use them so quickly but I am glad they were there when I needed them.

this program is worthless- i've had it for over 2 years and they have not covered anything for my dog to this point. they also raised the price 40% without telling me. canceled my account and would not recommend

Tons better than VPI/Nationwide Pet Insurance
I originally was a customer of VPI/Nationwide Pet Insurance due to a large discount offered via my place of employment. However, due to various difficulties (claims always denied, limited coverage options for senior pets, and too many exclusion policies) with VPI over the course of 3 years, I finally canceled my insurance with them and chose to pay out of pocket for Pets Best. I have made one claim so far with PB and had absolutely no issues - claim was processed promptly, very easy to use their app, and received the 90% coverage reimbursement after co-pay and deductible. Yes, it was cheaper with the employer paid pet insurance discount in terms of monthly premiums, but I am getting more value for my money now paying the PB premiums and much more peace of mind.

Horrible Service
Tried to defer my insurance due to the pandemic. Healthy Paws refused to defer and charged me several month until I asked for a cancellation. They will do whatever it takes to take your money and avoid payout.

Best Insurance and Service
I've had my male Siberian Husky insured by Embrace for over 5 years. I've only recently had to make claims in the past two years - quite a few. They are always helpful and supportive and go above and beyond to settle any questions. The policy is easy to understand and if you're not sure, they are just a phone call away. The claims get settled very quickly as well with direct deposit into my bank account within 10 or so days. I highly recommend them to my friends and clients (I'm a professional dog trainer and behavior consultant).
