Healthy Paws was a true partner in our dog's recovery from a catastrophic injury.
My dog suffered a catastrophic injury a month ago - with damage to his spine that resulted in partial paralysis. He was in pain, and we knew there was a difficult road in front of us. Healthy Paws was supportive from the start, allowing us to make the best decisions for our pet rather than having to worry about the costs. This made a world of difference - we took an aggressive course of action and a month later our dog is making a miracle recovery. If not for Healthy Paws, we would not have been able to take the approach we did, and so along with the amazing vets who have cared for him, we have Healthy Paws to thank for the ongoing recovery of our buddy. Backed by Chubb, I always had faith that Healthy Paws would be there in a time of need and they have been a true partner with incredible turnaround of our claims - the entire process has been so simple (upload receipts directly on the website and the claim is filed - could not possibly be easier) - Healthy Paws is simply the BEST.

New Pet Insurance
I didn't create any claims yet - just decided to purchase it for my beloved cat as he is getting older and you can never be too sure. I have read some great pet parent experiences about Spot Pet Insurance and hope I get the same. It was relatively easy to navigate the website and I loved how transparent the conditions are. I did some research and decided this was the one as I live in NYC and things can get pretty expensive; I purchased the annual one time payment because that's just how I prefer to pay. I hope I won't ever have to use it but just in case I do, I'll be prepared.

Very quick and efficient claim processing
Based on advice from a friend, we have had insurance for our pup Anabel since we adopted her almost 6 years ago. We initially had coverage with Pets Best, and though we had no complaints about them, we never filed a claim, so didn't test their system. After a couple of years, we changed to Healthy Paws because they have no claim limits and we felt that if we needed to file a claim, there was a good chance it would be a big one. Anabel is very active and spends a lot of time hiking with us (typically at least 50 miles per week). We recently filed our first claim, and, as we expected, it was a doozy! Anabel was bitten by a neurotoxic rattlesnake and the antivenin she needed came to more than $10,000 - our total claim was over $13,000. She was extremely lucky on several accounts and has made a full recovery. Although we would have paid for the treatment regardless, we were extremely appreciative that Healthy Paws covered all of the antivenin and processed our claim so quickly. Even though this was our first claim, which requires submitting her full medical history since coverage started, the process was very simple and the review times were extremely fast. I think we had confirmation of claim approval within a day or two of submitting all the required info, and we received the check in the mail within a week (probably would have been even faster with direct deposit). Although the premiums may seem high, it is absolutely worth it. Thank you Healthy Paws!
