I purchased auto insurance in Aug 2025…
I purchased auto insurance in Aug 2025 for my brand new car. But, They put me in misrepresentations accusing me of using uber. Funny part is uber is not even available in my town. I was an uber driver last year but never drove or signed up on my new car which I bought in Aug 2025. Now I can neither buy a new policy, as two other companies denied me services because of misrepresentation caused by Sonnet and I am tired of asking any evidence or SS of their system which shows such reason but they failed to provide any. On their suggestion, I tried to contact uber several times waiting in their holds for hours, to provide me a letter or anything showing that I have never used my new car on their platform but unfortunately they also are not providing me anything like this due to their policies. Sonnet Insurance was my biggest mistake, they put on a spot where i can neither buy a new auto policy nor their customer services is ready to help me in any way. Please stay away from Sonnet Insurance. My brand new car is parked in my driveway which I can not drive because of them. My policy number was- 502651861 Their customer services only suggests to email them on help@sonnet and revert on the email asks me to call their customer services. I am in this loop of inconvenience. Please stay away.

I am sorry I cannot give zero stars. It is a scam and they do everything - legal or illegal to deny the claims. I went to Brazil for work - lived there for three years. Came back and brought my dogs medical files. Then my dog had an ear infection after playing in water. They did not refund the vet costs because the files, although in English, were not accepted. They only accepted vets from Canada or the USA. I talked to them at the time and they said that the ear infection would be considered a pre-existing condition, but otherwise, the visit to the vet would then be considered a vet visit to a Canadian doctor and if he went to the vet again for any other condition, that it would be okay and he would be covered. My dog months later got a diarrhea. We went again to the vet. They then did not cover because he had had a diarrhea while in Brazil and the medical files that were unacceptable the first time around to cover the ear infection, were not valid and proof that he had had a diarrhea and visited the doctor, which made diarrhea a pre-existing condition. This is a scam. DO NOT TRUST! They rely on an old reputation because apparently, at some point, they ran an honest business, but that is no longer the case.
