One of a kind...

I did my research thoroughly and definitely wanted a 'wellness' program so after careful reading ALOT of the reviews on this site, I decided to get Embrace(they offer 100% on wellness w/ no deductible & no co-pays!) They are genuine when it comes to customer service and definitely care for your pet's well being. Prompt, courteous, responsive emails. PLUS they offer direct deposit!!! Even better !! Got an email stating 2 business days for my refund.

Peace of mind for my pet

After my pitbull had undergone a couple of surgeries in her second year one of my sons-in-law suggested pet insurance and she has been covered by this company ever since. Their coverage has always seemed prompt and pretty generous and I have appreciated greater peace of mind over the years. My dog has done well over the years because of regular veterinary care, good diet and natural supplements designed to keep her as healthy as possible and I am hoping that nothing too serious will happen in the future but one never knows. She experienced hip dysplasia in one hip (the other looks great), tore both her cruciate ligaments at different times, had the top of her femur removed but hasn't had surgeries for many years. Recently she was diagnosed with Horner's Syndrome in one eye. I was told that 50% of such cases are idiopathic and go away on their own and her eye does seem to be looking much better recently.

Not Satisfied

I have had this insurance for a year now and all they have paid out is approximatly $25. Every time I file a claim they seem to make some connection to an alleged pre-existing condition. I'm tired of fighting them because I always loose. I would love to switch but my hands are tied. Any condition my dog currently has will now be pre-existing to a new insurance. My hands are tied

A little stumble then first rate service

My little girl Shade had had nothing but routine shots and checkups from her vet, then she got a nose infection and was treated, to a great outcome, the insurance asked for all her records, witch i had provided or so i thought at the beginning of her policy, that by the way i switched from another carrier that was to hard to deal with and very user unfreindly. After embrace contacted my vet and got what they needed it was straight forward and done in a very timely manner im very satisfied with my service and it only reinforces that I made the right choice to switch insurance carriers. P.S. notice Embrace took the lead in getting what they needed to compleate the claim instead of me having to take the time to play middle man, thank you Mark

1st Claim!

My dog Loki got stung by an insect and needed 3 shots to settle it down. (It was just above his eye so he couldn't see at all.) I submitted my form 2 days later. Within 4-5 days, my claim was processed and accepted! So far, I am pleased with Trupanion. As a university student, I am really counting on this insurance to help me out with the unexpected vet visits! Thanks Trupanion!

Prompt, fair, outstanding service

We have not had the greatest luck with our one year old Goldendoodle when it comes to her health. We had frequent vet visits for stomach issues, vomiting and kennel cough. We spent more than $3000 on vet bills. Thank goodness we signed up with Trucompanion. The insurance company was simply outstanding and after the initial claim, paid quickly and communicated well via email. They respond rapidly to inquiries. Please note though, that the policy does not cover the actual vet consultation costs nor preventive procedures such as immunizations or spading. This keeps the costs down. Any your policy's co-payment will never increase (currently 10%).

I really felt embraced!

Shakti, our 4 month Golden Retriever pup contacted papilloma (which is common) and crutaceous inverted papilloma (which is very rare). Even the team at our Vet's office didn't know what these horrible doughnut like growths on Shakti's stomach were. Shakti needed emergency surgery that day to remove the growths and have them sent out for analysis. Within 2 weeks he was developing another growth and had to be seen by a specialist and subsequently undergo surgery again. When I contacted Embrace regarding Shakti's bills the representatives I spoke to were compassionate and informative. I even received a few phone calls inquiring how Shakti was doing? Embrace's customer service was better than BCBS! And I received payment on my claim faster than the credit card bill came in!
