The sign up experience was flawless and quick thanks to Patricia Ostazewski’s expertice and past veterinary experience. I feel confident that if there’s ever a health concern with my dog Motown’s health that it won’t be a financial burden on me to make him well again.

I recently lost my buddy a cocker spaniel he was 14yrs n was very sick wit kidney failure he was not covered n it was costly till the end. I want to thank the rep for all her help

Highly Recommend
We have had this insurance for three years and it has more than paid for itself. Fortunately, we haven’t had to use it very much, but when we did, filing a claim was very easy(did it on my phone) and we received a check in a timely manner. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because they didn’t pay for a medication saying it was pre-existing. It wasn’t but perhaps there is just miscommunication and I haven’t had time to call for an explanation. I would highly recommend this insurance to pet owners. One unexpected trip to the emergency vet and you’ll be glad you have it.

ASPCA pet insurance is the best
ASPCA pet insurance has really been a blessing to our family. Providing us peace of mind that we can afford to keep our pet healthy and well taken care of should the unexpected occur. Claims processing is fast and very easy. Would definitely recommend them.

Somewhat slow
I feel this is a great insurance, however, I also feel that the claims take some time in processing and sending the reimbursement checks out. I realize this would probably be faster online, however, not everyone has a computer to rely on as myself. I must utilize the postal system which is a disappointment. Overall, I’m very pleased with the company handling my pets profile on insurance matters.

If it was not for Healthy Paws my sweet boy would not be alive.
If it was not for Healthy Paws my sweet boy would not be alive. There are a lot of people out there that buy insurance for the peace of mind of knowing they have something to fall back on. This is not us. We got our dog at 8 weeks old. At 9 weeks he had severe medical complications. Since we have had him (he is almost 2 now) we have been at the vet no less than once a month. Typically we are there every other week as we flop back and forth from our family vet, our dermatologist, and our internal medicine doctor. The only bill that was not covered by them was our first ER bill as we were still in the waiting period. We are a family that pays a much higher monthly premium than most. However, that was a decision we made on our own. We chose to pay more per month for a lower deductible and a higher return rate. In fact, one of the main reasons we chose to use Healthy paws was their customization options. I was able to customize the plan exactly how I wanted. We are not a wealthy family so that was incredibly important to me. We shopped around a lot before we even got out dog and trust me, there are a lot of options out there. But not a single one of them comes close the coverage, cost, and customer service of Healthy Paws. Getting Healthy Paws was the best thing we could have ever done and we really do owe our dog’s life to them. If you are debating if this is the right plan for you, it is. I promise you that there is no better company out there.

Having pet insurance enabled me to provide the best health care possible to my best little buddy.
I invested in ASPCA Pet Insurance when my dog was approaching his “Golden Years.” Collectively, over the span of 4 years, pet insurance probably saved me $2k annually. In Bo’s final two months battling kidney disease, I spent roughly $2k in those two months alone. Because I had pet insurance though, I only paid around $400 out of pocket. Everything else was covered. In addition, when my dog passed and I called to cancel his policy, the customer service team was extremely empathetic and sincere and it made a tough phone call a little easier. Having pet insurance enabled me to provide the best health care possible to my best little buddy... and that gives me comfort. Not all dogs are as fortunate. It’s a shame.
