Trupanion pros and cons
The payouts are generous; once you have met the per illness deductible. Wellness is not covered, unless you pay a higher premium. The downside is the per illness deductible. This the value of this insurance depends on if your pup has a chronic condition. If so; this insurance is great. If not; you'll be paying out of pocket a lot, despite having insurance. Very friendly staff. The direct reimbursement to the vet is fantastic; my prior pet insurance required me to submit claims after I spent the $$. I had to get form signed by the vet, remember to bring the claim form to the vet'¦ Blah blah blah; it was a lot of hassle for not a lot of money. This is much more helpful, than that.

Trupanion has literally been a lifesaver for Baxter. Claims are always handled promptly. I am so thankful that I have Trupanion covering both of my boys.
