Trupanion insurance is the best investment!

Buying the insurance with Trupanion is a good investment and is worth to pay for. Most of the pet insurance companies out there have limited payout, from 3k to 5k per year, for the same amount of monthly payment with Trupanion. Any claim about greater than that has to come out of the human pockets. Trupanion has unlimited cover. My dog was sick multiple times and Trupanion covered all the procedures that listed in the policy. The claims were processed quickly with automatic claim service. It is the same procedure when you pay for human hospital treatment with Medicare or health care insurance. I rarely write good reviews for any company; mostly I leave bad reviews. I am honor to be a member of Trupanion.

Actually the WORST experience I've ever had with a company.

Do not recommend! Expect to jump through a million hoops to get documentation in their hands, expect no communication, and expect absolutely no ownership over your claim. Also, might be good to expect that any condition your pet has associated with your first claim to be rejected and excluded, thus rendering any future claim associated with that condition to now be considered "pre-existing"...forever. Also, don't expect any pro-active communication letting know what your obligations are to make your policy effective.

So I really doubted that I would get the money for my dogs teeth cleaning. Yorkies can get tartar quickly and you have to keep up with maintenance. I actually got the $100. There was a few weeks behind because of processing but after having insurance that don’t pay this was refreshing.

fraudulent

Have had healthy paws for years, would recommend them in the past. Then my dog developed a chronic condition, and they are DOUBLING his premium. DOUBLING. requiring 177.00 a month just to insure him. And of course now I cannot go to another company because it is pre-existing. And their response is " well, the claims in the state have gone up". DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY. CALL TRUPANION.

I have another insurance for all my other pets. My dog is too old to switch. This insurance takes a month to pay out. My other insurance pays within 48 hours and they charge less.

I can depend on Trupanion to help out espcially as my 3 boys/cats are getting older.

Since my cats are older and sometimes need extra care, Trupanion has consistently come through.

I regret choosing FIGO

I regret choosing FIGO. With new underwriters, they are no longer covering allergy treatments for Norbi. They sent us a letter stating that previous claims were processed in error. They are taking 2 non-specific symptoms (red/painful ears) and claiming this is a pre-existing condition. His dx for that visit was otitis externa and he did get better with med for ear infection. Does this mean that if they can connect any future diagnoses with previous, non-specific symptoms they can deny these claims? It's upsetting that our dog may not be able to get the treatment that he's been doing well with AND FIGO has been paying.

They are always on top of their claims

They are always on top of their claims. If there is a delay, they will always notify me, which rarely happens. I recommend to all my friends with pets!
