Great coverage!
I got Embrace insurance so I wouldn't have to think twice treating my Fiji for any illness she may have. Now after 12 years with them she's having cancer treatments and they've been great covering it!

Pets Best Pet Health Insurance is…
Pets Best Pet Health Insurance is usually good at paying out claims; however this time I filed a claim on September 14, 2020, and didn't receive payout until almost a month later on October 13, 2020. It shouldn't take at the most two weeks to receive your claim payout.

Great Pet Insurance! You Won't Regret It!
This review comes from the heart and I mean every word I write. We adopted a new puppy about 6 months old a couple of years ago, and enrolled our new bundle of joy with Trupanion. Unfortunately our newest addition to the family got into some trouble soon after she was enrolled and broke her ulna and radius clean through on one of her front legs. When this happened, my heart sank because the Veterinarian advised that she would need to be getting a plate and pins to fix the break. I assumed that because I had just purchased the insurance, she would be declined. Most insurance policies have a 15 day waiting period before the insurance covers anything. However, when I took another look at the policy, it said that for accidents the waiting period was only 5 days! It turned out that our dog had passed the waiting period by just a few days and Trupanion approved the claim. After that it was smooth sailing as our dog was referred to a specialist orthopedic surgeon who conducted the surgery to place the plate and screws to hold both bones back together. It was a successful surgery and although she was in a heavily bandaged leg for quite some time as the bones healed, today almost two years later you would never know she had ever broken a bone. It was expensive, but Trupanion covered 90% of the cost paid directly to the Vet, while I covered 10% and a small deductible. I have never been so happy with a pet insurance company as I am with Trupanion. In addition, two years later while conducting an annual review of my premiums, Trupanion actually LOWERED the monthly premium for our dog! They base the premium at renewal on the age of the dog when it was first enrolled, not the age it is now! Great company, highly recommended. No other comes close.

Outstanding service!
Trupanion couldn’t have made the process of submitting a claim any easier and convenient! The customer service rep was extremely helpful and caring, taking the time to explain the process to me being I was a first time user. I submitted my claim online (outstanding user friendly claim process!) and two days later my case was reviewed, settled and an update sent. The day after that the claim check was in my account! Trupanion made a very upsetting event with my dog so much less stressful with the ease of using Quigley’s coverage. I highly recommend them for your pets insurance. Because of them, my mind is at ease that I can get him the proper care that he needs to heal.

If I could give Pets Best no stars
If I could give Pets Best no stars, I would. Basically they make you jump through hoops to get your money back and conveniently, they can never put you in direct contact with a Supervisor or the Claims Department to move your claim forward. They find any and all reasons to deny the simplest of claims and repeatedly tell you its due to a lack of records from your vet (which you submit multiple times). Many friends and I chose Pets Best simultaneously to protect our pets, and I most definitely will be cancelling my policy and urging them to do the same. Not worth the headache and you pay on time monthly to them but they never do the same for you when it matters.

We highly recommend Healthy Paws!
Our 6 (almost seven) year-old Boston Terrier, Finn, was diagnosed with a corneal ulcer in late August. We think he may have gotten hit in the eye while chasing after a tennis ball (his favorite activity)! Following a week of antibiotic treatment, his ulcer did not heal, and his regular vet performed a grid keratotomy. Another week or so of antibiotic treatment following this procedure and unfortunately, while his ulcer was healing in diameter, it was getting much deeper and turned into what is called a Descemetocele (a surgical emergency that requires immediate attention to save the eye). Finn was seen by an Ophthalmologist at a renowned local Specialty Veterinary Center and luckily, following an emergency conjunctival pedicle graft, his eye was saved and is now healing wonderfully. ALL of these visits and procedures were covered by Finn’s plan with Healthy Paws (aside from office visits and the remaining 10% that is not reimbursed with our 90% reimbursement plan). This was in the thousands of dollars… all because of a tennis ball! I wish we could say that this was Finn’s one and only large insurance claim with Healthy Paws, but they also covered a major tooth fracture surgery that he had a few years back. Needless to say, our investment in Health Paws has lifted an enormous financial burden off of our family. While we would obviously have Finn treated for any illness or emergency at the blink of an eye, with Healthy Paws, we know that we do not have to stress over the financial impact that might come with an emergency illness or injury. We HIGHLY recommend Healthy Paws to all of our friends and family with pets. We’ve been a happy customer of Healthy Paws for nearly 7 years and have no complaints. We hope to never need to file a claim again (for Finn or his sister, Marino) but we can be rest assured that we have Healthy Paws to rely upon should a pet emergency arise. Thank you, Healthy Paws!

Great claims service
So happy I purchased Healthy Paws insurance for my rescue puppy. They have been extremely professional and easy to deal with from registration to claims processing. My vet commented that they were easy and helpful when filing claims. Would highly recommend signing up when you adopt your new fur baby

Worst insurance!
The absolute worst insurance experience of anything I’ve ever had insurance on! Car, home, life, phone, flood!! After 3 months They keep sending me emails every two weeks about needling more info from my vet. My vet sent them 11 pages of records 4 times. I spoke to a rep EVERY WEEK since the surgery (July 27 2020). They say they don’t have them, then another rep says they do then again they re waiting. I’ve called and shown up at my vets office 3 times to make sure they did their part and sure enough they did. I again call ASPCA pet insurance and wait the 40-over an hour wait times to be told the same things. When they “ verify” they have the records then tell me they will put this though for payment into my direct deposit, I get nothing but another email saying they’re waiting for medical records.I call again and the rep says the same repertoire then tells me they need records going back even further than a year since my dog has only been going to this vet less than a year. Not once had this come up in the previous emails. They always say they’re email the vet that did the surgery. I went and got, photographed and sent records all the way back to 2018!! So I cancelled my coverage and everyday for the last 5 days I get a voicemail and an email asking to keep coverage and remit payment. They’re adept at begging for money FROM me everyday just not lifting a finger to PAY me. Also now when I go to the “My Pet Insurance “ app the date if the claim says Jan. 1,2001!!!!!! What a joke of a company! A $1042 surgery claimI’ll NEVER get back! STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!

Best decision
Best decision we made was opting for pet insurance. When you are dealing with an emergency with your pet the last thing you need to worry about is how you will afford the cost.
