BUYER BEWARE! This company is a fraud
I bought this insurance as it was endorsed by USAA, but since then my opinion of USAA has dropped, but after 40 year membership with USAA it is a shock. Embrace took my lump sum premium with no complaint, but as soon as I started filing claims on my sweet little LP they became very uncooperative. I filed three claims, they contacted my vet for records, she submitted them (MORE THAN ONCE). They put those claims on hold because they needed medical records. ARGH. I finally asked Vet to send me LPs records so I could deal with Embrace and not bother her. VET has other things to do but continue to send my dogs records over and over and over again. I copied LPs entire record from Day she was found as stray on street in Killeen to last day Dr R laid hands on LP along with three new claims and re submitting first claims. Now they continue to request medical records. They will gladly complete claims once they get medical records. THEY HAVE THE FRICKING MEDICAL RECORDS. I cancelled my policy but they continue to send me emails requesting medical records. They have never intended to pay ANYTHING. This company is a fraud. Actually I probably should have a total refund of my premium. This company should be reprimanded and all premiums paid refunded to all who paid.

Timely, easy, caring, EXCELLENT pet insurance company
Healthy Paws has been absolutely excellent. I began insurance for my dog as soon as I got him at 8 weeks old. He is now almost 5 years old. This is important to get coverage early so all conditions will be covered and not considered underlying. I cannot be more thankful that I did this. My dog's monthly allergy injections- covered. He had a 5 day hospital stay- covered. I have never had one issue with any claim I have submitted. It is extremly easy to submit claims by taking a photo of your invoice and sending it in on the app, the response time is excellent. I have nothing but excellent things to say about Healthy Paws and I have peace of mind knowing I can provide top care for my dog at all times without the stress of major vet bills. I highly recommend Healthy Paws pet insurance and I will continue to use them for any pets that we add to our family. Thank you Healthy Paws!!!!!!

Is a terrible company, i filed a claim more than 2 months ago and still didn’t get resolved, they ask me for more clinical records every time. They are doing everything so hard when it comes to reimburse you money, as long as they get your monthly payment everything is fine but you touch their pockets is when the hard part comes. Stay away from these people

Pet Insurance gives peace of mind...
My husband and I made the choice to go with Healthy Paws a little over five years ago when we purchased our mini Poodle. We researched many different companies before making our final decision. We have not regretted our decision even once over the years. The first 4 years Samson was very healthy, but this past year things changed quickly. Samson developed cataracts on both eyes that progressed very quickly. Thanks to Healthy Paws insurance we were able to afford surgery to remove both cataracts. Samson had a complication with his left eye resulting in Retinal Detachment. Again, we were able to see an Ophthalmologist that specializes in reattachment (one of 5 in the world that does this) because we had Pet Insurance that would pay a large percentage of the procedure. The costs of these surgery’s plus check ups were around $8000. We paid very little out of pocket. We would highly recommend Healthy Paws Insurance. They paid each claim without hesitation. I am so thankful for the peace of mind that the insurance offers so that my Samson can always receive the best of care without worry of cost.

TruPanion TRULY came through for me!! My dog needed emergency care twice in one week. I easily submitted my invoices and received 90% reimbursement on all of the vet bills. No hassle over anything with TruPanion. I can’t tell you the last time I was ever treat so fairly by an insurance company. Thank you so much TruPanion. The BEST pet insurance out there!!!
They always process my claims within 3-4 days at the very most, sometimes it's the next day. The ease of submitting a claim is outstanding. You don't have to have your veterinarian fill out a claim, you can just have them email you the pet records and upload with an invoice-and that's it! The customer service is outstanding!. I've had my Chihuahua insured with Healthy Paws for a few years and in the last two years he developed congestive heart failure and started having seizures. He was very sick recently and was referred to a Neurologist, and Healthy Paws emailed me to ask if he was going to be ok and asked me to follow up with them on his progress, then they paid the claims right away. I really can't say enough good things about this company. I've tried another pet insurance company with another dog I have, just because it was a little bit cheaper per month, and they did mental gymnastics to try and get out of paying for a claim. So I dropped them and signed my other dog up with Healthy Paws, you really do get what you pay for!!! I've NEVER had any issues with claims or payments, and I recommend them to everyone who has a pet they love.

Best decision for every pet parent
After much research, I selected Healthy Paws pet insurance after rescuing my two puppies. Since they were rescues, I didn’t know what to expect from a medical background. I am so thankful for Healthy Paws services, professionalism and responsiveness. They are very quick to process claims. My one rescue was only 6 months when we learned she was going to need very expensive elbow surgery. Healthy Paws made an impossible decision so much easier. Without them, we would have not been able to afford the surgery. The ongoing prognosis required ongoing medication, all of which has continued to be covered. I fully expected, as with most human insurance companies, things to get denied or pushed back. This never happened as long as it was under the coverage. They don’t cover exams and well pet costs, but that is what you sign up for as a pet parent. You don’t sign up for making heartbreaking decisions between helping your pet when they are in pain or sick and your finances. Healthy Paws gives you the freedom and independence to make sure you can always do what is right for your pet. Most recently, my same dog had a mass removed and they followed up with a personalized email asking how she was doing. This is a company that truly cares about pets, their customers, and making sure the best care is received. I’m so thankful I found them and I can’t recommend them highly enough.
