Covers lots, quick payment, great service!
I have been with Healthy Paws for over 5 years with one dog and put my second dog on 2 years ago. I have been pleased over the years with all that they cover and the ease of understanding what is covered and by how much. They are VERY prompt with their payments and I often have it in less than 10 business days. There customer service folks are kind, helpful and easy to work with. I have had one small, just a few dollars, increase in the last 5 years.

This is a very help policy, also ways covers more then I think it covers.
Well managed never feel afraid to take my pet in for illnesses or injuries they always help. I don’t feel as they are trying to to get out of helping me with my pets. I would recommend this insurance to any body.

Terrible for ACL Surgeries
Do not purchase if your dog has already had 1 ACL surgery. My dog had her left ACL surgery in 2017 so I signed up for Trupanion to cover big expenses like this in the future. 2 Years later she needed surgery on her other ACL but it was denied. And the appeal was dismissed without any discussion. They consider the healthy knee a pre-existing condition no matter what evidence I provided or what my Vet stated about the two knees being unrelated. And they won't tell you that until they deny your claim. I find this reasoning and not explaining this up front to be very disingenuous.

Nationwide Pet Insurance was a great choice
This pet insurance company is the best. Excellent customer service and do very easy to file a claim! Just send a pic of the bill and the money is promptly deposited into your bank account!

The submitting claim easy. Not impressed with your electronic deposit that didn’t work or customer service except Marsha.
The claim submitted process fantastic. Electronic deposit didn’t work bc I never received email from chase, and waited online for 20 min no help, one unanswered email, and multiple phone calls the following day. You need to have a better way to electronically deposit if someone doesn’t get the email from chase other than saying it will expire and come back to us in 15 days and then will take another week to get a paper check. That part was ridiculous, and has been smoothed over since I asked for a manager and Marsha ext 6443 took over. She has been very sympathetic and caring on trying to get my check to me and has followed up several times. I would not recommend nationwide after my first claim due to customer service being unsatisfactory other than Marsha. I also think your inability to work with chase to send another email for a customer to “claim” their money if they didn’t receive the email to do so is ridiculous.
